I wish the emote was reactive Davy Jones because in the move he played the piano with his tentacle beard.
yeah, i wish that the emote would change to using his beard when you did the emote with davy jones equipped. they did it with hade's built in emote changing colors depending on the color style you chose

It makes sense that swan didn’t get the special animations. She was never a pirate and was winging it all the way through at worlds end. Which for winging it her sword play was not bad
Don't forget that her weapon is also a saber; my first instinct when you start swinging it is performing a cut or slash first instead of a thrust/stab
But… she is Pirate King. :o
She wasn't winging it in the second to third film. She got trained by Will and was good enough to fight a big chunk of Jones' crew almost on her own. By the third film she was amongst the best fighters, only reason Jones beats her is because he uses raw strength and the fact he's immortal.
The pic-axe animation is just to add variety.

@@pyerack right, she wasn’t horrific but you also must remember that she and will kept being separated for the whole of the Davy Jones arc. So she has some skill sure but he style was more of the defensive then slash that the normal pirate wait for them to make a mistake

Barbossa should’ve had a reactivity to where he’d turn skeletal at night

I still baffles me that Jack got a skeleton skin while Barbossa didn’t and Jack doesn’t have a look with just the coat and hat.

Tabor, I used the Drift Wood wrap that came out with the pirates in Season 8, but Archaeology, the brown leather one that came out with Indiana Jones is also good.

Edit: Did you choose a pirate version of the Song of Storms, cause it sounds vaguely familiar.
The skins in this update are great! The only complaint I have is I wish that Davy's organ emote made it so he played the organ with his tentacle beard. Also would have been cool if it played his theme on it to!
I think Davy Jones’s was the best in my opinion
Technically its Will's heart becase he gives her his heart in the chest at the end of the third film

Suprised you didn't show Elizabeth without the hat. Also, if I remember correct , she was taught English Military Style Sword Play not Fencing Style like the others. I assume Jack's will also be Fencing Style. Jack has a bottle with Davey Jones's heart in it (The Bottle Of Dirt), Elizabeth has the chest with Will's Heart in it after he takes over as the "New" Davey Jones, because she is the only person he trusted with it.

@michaeldc951 there would be a way different animation of the pickaxe and mythic. they would be great in the game, and potentially if they didn't add the mythics, it's a great sacrifice

At the end of the third movie, Davy Jones dies. Jack has Will stab Jones' heart. But the Flying Dutchman must have a captain. So as the ship was sinking, the crew of the Dutchman came out and cut out Wills heart to replace Jones' heart in the chest. Will is now chsrged with the job thst Calipso gave to Jones. So he gives the chest now containing his heart to Elizabeth to keep safe. So this back bling, its Will Turner's heart in there not Davy Jones

Davy Jones is one of my favorite characters ever, so he and his emote were an immediate buy for me.
Kinda wish I could buy the chest backbling separately, at the end of the film Jones is in possession of the empty chest. But I can see why Elizabeth gets it instead. Definitely a missed opportunity not to give Barbossa the money as a backbling.
I’d say Davy Jones is the best because he is perfect, Elizabeth is second because she’s a great skin, and Barbossa is last because of the lost opportunities of no undead style and no backbling of Jack the undead monkey
My rankings of the skins:
1. Davy Jones (my favourite character in both Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End)
2. Barbossa (he could’ve been one if he had his pet monkey, Jack, as a back bling and a style or reactivity that turned him into his cursed form from Curse of the Black Pearl)
3. Elizabeth Swann (she’s fine, back bling is cool but would’ve been nice if they gave her a style based on her more regal look in CotBP)

Barbossa, DJ and then Elizabeth. Barbossa was quite a cool character in the movies IIRC. I might even like him more than Jack to be honest.
I love Pirates of the Caribbean and the cosmetics are very nice this is a awesome collaboration in my opinion tabor
At the end of at worlds end, davy jones is killed and will turner becomes the new captain of the flying dutchman and his heart gets placed in the chest, so, there's a possibility that will's heart in in the chest in fortnite, which would make sense, giving it's Elizabeth's backbling

Would've preffered Elizabeth to get her Pirate King outfit, but she's still great imo

It would be ABSOLUTELY SICK if barbossa had skeleton form in the moonlight! Nice skins! I like the swords as pickaxes. I think the pirate wrap "x marks the spot" (i believe is the name) would work well. Good stuff, tabor! 😎👌🏻
To me it seems the bundle is worth it if you want at least two of the skins. After you get two you might was well just spend that little bit extra to get everything.

Yo Tabor! Darth Vader has an interaction if you have his lightsaber in game. It takes it off his belt like barbossa and his scabbard!
Tabor, if you watch back on Elizabeth when you were testing the back bling you can see there was actually 5 beats of the heart. It is very immediate and very hard to notice right off the bat, but it does happen instantly on kill.
Kelsier has that interactivity with pickaxes. Great video

I plan on trying to watch the movies bc of these collab kinda like how i watched hercules bc of the theme last season. But i think davy jones looks INSANE probably one of the most detailed skins? Considering getting jack just bc hes super iconic and also bc johnny depp is a cool guy

First place goes to Barbossa for me, i’ve always liked him in the movies, shame he doesnt have a backbling tho :/ his pet monkey wouldve been a cool choice. Second would be a tie between the other two: was never really big on Davy Jones, but i still like his skin and back bling, cute lil thing :))) Elizabeth would’ve taken 2nd by herself if she at least looked more like her irl counterpart, same issue i had with the new loki skin but i love his style and character overall so it didnt matter as much. Swann also could’ve gotten her pirate king outfit which would’ve EASILY made her a contender for first place. But alas, we got what we got. Was confused at first why she had the chest but remembered it’s a reference to how the third movie ended, so that’s pretty cool.
I like Elizabeth swan the best out of the whole collav but I probably won’t pick it up as I don’t really use all that many skins and I can’t imagine wanting to run around as a pirate most games haha.

I also bought this bundle this afternoon. I think it's a good price for what you get. I've also been watching all the films for the past few weeks, so I definitely had to have this one! My favourite is also Barbossa. In second place Davy Jones and in third Elizabeth. The emote is the icing on the cake. Such a good bundle in my opinion! 🐙👍

My obly complaint is the emote doesnt actually play davy jones theme which is wierd because both pirates of the Caribbean and star wars are both owned by disney and not only does darth vaders emote play his theme but Disney now owns part of epic so like idk what happened there. Definitely picking up davy jones hes up there in the list of my top favorite villians of all time.

I like them in this order: Jack Sparrow, Barbossa, Davey Jones, Elizabeth Swann. Barbossa and Jones came in a close second for me.

I think they wanted to save the secondary Barbosa skin so that way they could just get away with releasing it for if they ever did a part 2 to the event probably what they did with Sokka and how he was just as much a protagonist as the other skins we had, much moreso than what Zuko had been, but because he wasn't a bender we never got a skin for him so I'm crossing my fingers hoping that they decide to continue to be money greedy and we can get skins for characters we like but I don't see it happening soon
Thanks for reviewing these skins tabor. I already got the bundle with your code as I saved up a little bit. I also used the wolf kissed longboat glider to go with my preset for barbossa, as it's basically the closest I have to a pirate ship glider. With my preset for davy jones however, I was debating on using the coral cruiser but the music wouldn't fit, so I eventually decided on using the man o war glider with him. I can imagine that deep sea glider would work well too, but my reason for not using that is its mostly metal and a slightly different theme (I forget its name though).
We *SERIOUSLY* need a wave 2 in the future with Will Turner, Mr. Gibbs and the goddess of the sea herself, Calypso/ Tia Dalma! 🤞🏾😄 Btw, thanks for the review!
It would've been cool if they made a will Turner skin as well as barbossa's monkey those would've been cool but, they didn't add them.
Jack sparrows face would've looked like johnny depp if Disney made a public apology to him or if they didn't fire him in general and tabor hill keep up the great work I would love to have you added on fortnite

I bought the bundle and love it! I didn’t think I’d like Elizabeth Swann that much because she’s kinda plain looking, but she looks way better in game. It’s a solid 9.5/10 for me!

3. Barbossa (sorry Tabor lol)
Davy Jones is number one as he's got the most stuff and is very well animated.
Whereas Barbossa, he's got the least amount of stuff. That's really the only reason why I put him 3rd.
As for Elizabeth, she fits nicely in the middle.

I'd use the Indiana Jones wrap, Rogue Archeology, to match the browns

Elizabeth Swann looks nothing like Keira Knightley. It baffles me because Davey Jones and Barbossa (and Jack) look straight out of the movies. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't do Will Turner, but if he wasn't going to look like Orlando Bloom like Elizabeth's case that would have been pretty bad.
I'm a big fan of the movies but I don't think I'll get any of these skins. I will definitely get Jack Sparrow though. Can't wait for his running emote.

I actually found Elizabeth to be the least appealing one. Barbossa is a straight up pirate, Davy Jones brings the body horror cool-factor and Elizabeth... Is kinda just there. She's not bad but I would've preferred her At World's End "Pirate King" outfit as an edit style, honestly.
Her sword swing also bothers me but I guess they're just trying to add some variety. Not giving Barbossa a cursed variant is a missed opportunity.

I feel the skins are average. Davy jones looks exactly like he did in the movie and Barbosa looks like the actor. Sadly Elizabeth doesnt look like she did in the movies. Sad that Barbosa didnt get a 2nd skeleton style like how jack is gonna get. Since that was like the whole point in the first movie. Also sad he didn't get a backbling. Like how you were saying the monkey 🐒 from the first film would of been perfect. Also him without the hat would be great even though I know he never takes it off. Overall i give the bundle 7/10 if they added and changed some stuff i feel it would definitely be 9/10. Thanks for the review as always Tabor. :)

Barbosa was the quintessential pirate and was the best character. Unfortunately these skins imo do not meet good skin standards.
