I've had the audiolab 9000a for almost a year now, it's a really cool device, it doesn't overload you with its power, the sound is very smooth, neutral and at the same time beautiful over the entire frequency range.
Everything you have said about this amp is everything I'm looking for, and it seems like it will be the perfect fit for me and my system. Thank you for this video and for being the first to offer their opinion on this unit!
Hi! Great review. Do you think it will match well with monitor audio rx2's. Rx2's are a little "bright" . Have you pair 9000a with any bright speakers?
Yes I really think it has , we have a 6000a in the shop we just haven't had a chance to try it yet , I'll compare and let you know if it sorts out that midrange , from what I have heard from the 9000a the midrange is warm yet detailed with a fantastic grasp of the low end bass , vocals are slightly forward yet clean and the wide sound stage adds a live feel that I loved
The 9000A is a BIG step up from the 6000A in every area. I have both the 9000A and 6000A Play here right now. And both in the lower end, midrange and top it is a big step up.
@@SirThomas1212 It is a BIG step up from the 8300A. I've also had the 8300CDQ / 8300MB. Might not be as powerfull as the MB's, but way more open, detailed, controlled.
i dunno, it's just a shame that its more expensive and doesnt do streaming like the Roskan Atessa streaming Amp. Not to mention the Attessa has BLueOS - whereas the ALab 9000a needs the bluesound node. Why did audiolab just go like 80% of the way towards a real allinone? I know they have the omnia but this 9000a is so much sexier...
I don't know...this guy seems a tad lacking in enthusiasm for this product. Kevin Deal from Upscale Audio may have some competition in the sales pitch department.😆
I've tried it with the ls50s and the soundstage is very impressive , big sound from a small speaker , the mids are great and highs are detailed and smooth , I've not tried them on sonus faber but I will let you know if and when I do
@@Audiophilesdoteu I prefer the standard old school screens like Marantz 6007 or Ruby, Luxmans, you know. I don't want anything that remember me a phone!

The 6000A just lacked that tonal demsity in the midrange. Has the 9000A addressed this?

A 9000N is coming. So a dedicated streamer for the series. :)
how does this compare to the Roksan Blak?
Im just a bit confused by the connected bluesound node, is it needed?
It's a normal integrated amp, not a streaming integrated amp. The node was needed as the streaming source in his set up.
Yeah, no streaming. Only bluetooth. But a 9000N is is the rumours, so we get the streamer to the series.

How does this pair with the kef ls50 meta or sonus faber lumina II or B&W 705 S3 /805 D4..
