But having a commercial broadcast multiple times for 15-20 minutes within the show is a whole different thing. It blurs the line between the show and commercials. As viewer, if you see people talking on the couch, you expect the show to go on. What you get instead is a commercial broadcast disguised as the show itself. Not only does this take away time your viewer expects to be filled with the show. In the end, you also don't know when to turn back on, because there's no clear-cut line between the show and the commercial. Sorry, but overall, this basically means flipping off your viewers and losing important parts of your show's integrity... Yes, sponsors are important, but all other e-sports events I know of didn't need a commercial broadcast within the show itself, so it should be possible to go without it. Summary: having ad breaks or sponsor logos/shoutouts is perfectly fine, disguising a commercial broadcast in a part of your show is untolerable and should never be done again.
