- Here's a memory from the 80's. Chico DeBarge performs his then current release and subsequent hit, "Talk To Me" in this 1986 clip. I remember seeing him debut this song at the old Copa in NYC back in '86 and doing a great job! Take it away......... Chico!

It's even worse if you "know" someone and you put words in their mouth, and they didn't say that. Also, you said you can "tell" he was uncomfortable--which means you don't actually know. Which I also find suspect. Someone who knows someone, and know about a situation wouldn't say that. They would "he was uncomfortable".
Also, if you were close friends with them, you would've said that in the initial comment like" I'm close friends with Chico and he was uncomfortable..." I don't believe you.

_The DeBarges ruled the airwaves during the mid-80s for sure. And you have the absolutely best-looking, hottest, and greatest dancer in the family right here. This young man with his crop top, flat stomach, and trendy 80s clothing broke so many female hearts(and I'm sure a few men too). 'Talk to Me' is still a favorite of mine for sure._
He kind of looks like Prince from that "Kiss" video he did around the same period...

@rarabarak I know that's right. Although I live in New York now, I watched the Scene just about everyday back in High School. I am closer to El's age (smile) and when I first saw Chico perform in the 80's at the Copa nightclub here in New York City, this was his latest released and he looked and dressed just as he does in this video. It was not strange at the time because that was the style! LOL! Everything evolves especially music and fashion.

"Talk To Me" was current in 1986, which is 25 years ago, which mean within 10 years; within 20 years; almost 30 years ago. Singers, when on stage, are working. They are on the job. This was the dress of his job. McDonald's workers wear the McD uniform because it is part of their job, not their sexuality. I'm sure you have appropriate dress for your job too.
