This video is a basic welding cart that I built for moving my Lincoln Power Mig 210 MP around the shop. Nothing fancy but very functional, inexpensive and an easy project
Love the cart. Any chance you have the dimensions posted anywhere. I just got my first welder and I think a cart for it would make a great first project for it. Thanks.
This cart works great for my needs. The approximate dimensions are: bottom = 16 1/2 x 31; middle = 16 1/2 x 21; upright section is 16 1/2 x 32 and is set in about 8" from back of bottom section. You might need to adjust a bit to fit your needs. The back section will accomodate 2 tanks of gas. Hope this helps. Let me know how you make out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I just kind of eyeballed it based on how well I could see the front screen when standing a couple feet away given the height. Worked out well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@elwellboy I was thinking seriously of getting a ready made cart at Northern Tools or Harbor Freight, but all of the wheels are tiny, maybe ok for a perfectly smooth concrete surface. My garage and apron in front are a mess, all cracked up, etc. Small wheels would be getting hung up all the time!
Also, thanks for making this easy to hear. Some vids you just can't hear the commentary very well!
I appreciate the feedback. I've been thinking about upgrading my camera but glad to hear it's still producing decent sound. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. It's great to have dimensions for a starting point point.
I like that the top has a slant to it. Makes it easier to read the face. How did you decide how much to inlcine it and how much of a slant is it?

Simple is great! No need to put a ton of time and effort into something that'll be getting dusty/dirty/scratched up pretty darn quick!
