      Profile builder is definitely on the list. I'll probably do something about Vray, but I want to keep most of my rendering tutorials in a program that everyone can access for free. Thanks for watching!

    Wow! This is the best beginner's video regarding Twilight Hobby Version. I already search the web for an easy quick start about Twilight and could not find one until I stumbled upon this tutorial. Very clear and concise explanation of the basics. I hope you will do more video pertaining to Twilight free version in the future. Thanks for sharing your talent.

    I've been trying to get my feet wet with rendering but with all of the different programs out there it's been a bit overwhelming to even know where to begin. This was a huge help, thanks! Definitely going to check out the rest of your rendering videos next!

      Hi Jim! I felt like there was a lack of easy to understand rendering tutorials out there, so I wanted to make something that at least walked you through the basics. Thanks for watching!

      Hi Steven! I'm excited about creating more of these. I feel like rendering has been one of those things that isn't very accessible due to the number of softwares out there, so I'm approaching this with the goal of teaching easy, basic principles to get people started! Thanks for watching!

      TheSketchUpEssentials I was doing my final pieces of work showing the joints for my DT project and thought that I could render it in Blender. Turned out that it didn’t really work. Tried this and passed my mocks with an A.

    Thanks Justin, heck, 44 SU rendering software programmes, no wonder it can be confusing on which one to adopt. So thanks with the pointer on TWILIGHT-HOBBY version, I'll have a practice with the non commercial one for my own learning curve. Even the Pro-version seems to be really well priced at $99-USD. All the best.

      @Thesketchupessentials  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol - exactly - it's very difficult to decide which one to focus on - Twilight seems to be the best option to get started for free, and it's easy to use and does a good job, so that will likely remain my go-to free version - thanks!

    Great tutorials thank you! Just struggling to see Twilight render in my sketchup. It installed ok and I see it under program files but do not see it under my plugins or tools in sketchup.. Can you please help. This looks like exactly the render program I need.
    I work in windows and have Sketchup 2014. Thank you

    • @Thesketchupessentials
      @Thesketchupessentials  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm...2014 is an older version that didn't have the extension manager yet. You may want to download the 2017 Make version here - www.sketchup.com/download/all - and see if it works in there. I'm not sure if a current Twilight Render install will work with the 2014 version...

      Thank you so much for replying. I installed the 32 bit and that worked for the 2014 Version. Thank you for all your tutorials, it is very helpful.

      Thanks for watching! I had to pick one just as kind of a baseline, but generally the stuff I talk about will be applicable to multiple rendering softwares (hopefully). There are some cool images on their homepage!
