    Can you please measure the ANSI output? Reviews for the China version of the N1 Ultra have it at 2100 ANSI (with a claimed 4000). Need to know which is true before the Kickstarter goes live. As a reviewer, please help potential buyers with this key info.

      Thx for asking this important question.
      But how are those very good results and ratings - not only in this video- possible? Would only work if the reviewers are bought by JMGO and part of a scam. Can I believe it?
      Hmm 🤔
      The answer of this channel will help out. But I won't cancel my order in this moment. Might be much too early and hesitated.
      And finally most important to me: is the output as good as shown in the various videos? That would be important to me and not any numbers like ANSI 2.0000 or 4.000.

    turns out the 4k capability is from pixel shifting tech. HDMI 2.1 also appears to be misleading which is the reason this is limited to 4k60. nice to have this with 4k120 and with VRR support.

    As a dedicated home-theater room projector it seems like a winner. Using a white/grey screen, especially one for best black/color levels. It could really be something.
    It definitely needs to be in the dark to look the best, but that applies to them all essentially.
    The beauty with laser projectors is that they can hit 100% or more of BT2020 because laser is pure color so a 3 laser RGB.

  • @sorsiva
    @sorsiva ปีที่แล้ว +34

    Thanks for the review! I know it’s advertised as 4000 ANSI lumens but is that actually true? Have you measured the output? The reason I ask is an image at 4000 ansi lumens should be highly visible during the day and this looked washed out. Plus companies tend to lie about this.

    • @christr339
      @christr339 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But the images in all the videos I saw were very bright and looked good. The darker the better but to me surprisingly enough in rooms with lights on or during daylight.
      So, 4000 or not, mainly the output it has would be important to me.

    • @allthingstech
      @allthingstech  ปีที่แล้ว

      I will try and measure but not sure my TV measure will be accurate. It is super bright plus remember that I am projecting on a grey screen so a white screen would look even brighter.

    • @christr339
      @christr339 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are (asian) reviews where a brightness of about 1650 lux is measured.
      I am no expert but tried to inform myself.
      So far I know now this might nearly correspond to a 4000 lumen light source when you know the correlation between lux and lumen.
      And it changes because the measured lux not only depends on the lumen of the source but also on the angle of the beam and the distance to the screen.
      I hope I understood it correctly. Otherwise experts are welcome to correct me - or to tell us I am right.😀

    • @SaycoPworrell
      @SaycoPworrell ปีที่แล้ว

      dependent on the projector throw ratio . So for example, the most common projector throw ratio is 2.0. This means that for each foot of image width, the projector needs to be 2 feet away or D/W = 2/1 = 2.0. So if I'm using a projector with a throw ratio of 2.0 and I have an image width of 5 feet, then my throw distance must be 10 feet.

    • @L1RW
      @L1RW ปีที่แล้ว

      It all comes down to what you want it for. For gaming, I'd say OLED as it has really low lag times. For everything else, it will look like a bigger version of an LED/LCD tv. Projectors are much brighter than OLED tv's. You won't get the pure blacks on a projector.

    • @paulwalker2133
      @paulwalker2133 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most people don’t use a projector in their living room for day to day viewing. If that’s you then you’re a telly guy. If you have a space that can accommodate a 100-120” screen and don’t have $5-$10K for an OLED TV then you’re a projector guy. It’s often both rather than one over the other…

    Hi A.L.T. I'm looking for 4K laser or UST projector for around 2500 €. Mostly for movies and ocasional PS5/Xbox gaming. Which one would you currently recommend in this price range? After your review I purchased JMGO N1 Ultra by Kickstarter, but I wonder is there any better alternative 🤔 Regarding JMGO N1 Ultra, have you test it with other screens? I just found this video (th-cam.com/video/9wX0aZfPpiQ/w-d-xo.html). It seems, that white screen doesn't seem to be the best one to chose from. What screen would you recommend for it if any?
