But since he's launched B Friendly Fitness, he's really separated himself from the Sevan adjacent crew. But, as much as he knows, he kind of just doesn't cut it on his own. He needed Sevan and gang to boost up his lack of personality. He was great at Crash Crucible, but also because he was around everyone else, too. I don't mean to sound harsh, but sounds a bit like he started drinking his own Kool Aid and believing his own hype and forgetting where he came from. And it shows.

I don’t think she knows what it actually means. Someone calling you out on movement standards is not toxic masculinity. He calls out men for the same thing.
Push up has been a standard measured movement in the military longer than we've been alive. The standard for measuring has changed a few times. But there's always been a fairly easy way to count reps versus no-reps. I think the biggest issue with a lot of these movements and standards is that a drill instructor loves issuing no-reps and a lot of these competition judges are scared to.
@@J_Wolfe86 I can only speak for my experience 15+ years ago. The standard is simple though. It gets cheated in garrison and in non combat units a lot. But the last thing you want is to be down range with a fat ass that can't actually perform the standard. It was taken a little more seriously with the kids I played with.

Irt to ankles/ feet injuries…trail raced a lot in north and South Carolina mountains…I wouldn’t say a course isn’t why injuries happened. I’d lean towards the height/cushion of most running shoes used for this particular run…but that is a guess with not knowing each injured athlete’s footwear…and many other possible causes. Much easier to roll an ankle in the higher/ more cushioned running shoe on a trail vs a road run. You need stability over cushion on a trail run where each stride isn’t the same repetitive length and speed like a road/track race. It’s an old lesson having to be relearned 🤷♂️
People do pushups like that to, hips stay natural and the chest touches the ground. IDK how they do it and it looks crazy weird but meets the standard of a pushup.
First year going to WZA and it was a blast! Personally I like how I got to see the big names on day one and two and watch people from my gym the rest of the week! I would say between the games and WZA, WZA is a way better spectator experience!
There were way more than “One” people who hurt their ankles. Some broke them, many many sprained them. I happened to break my foot. Mt many years competing I’ve never seen so many athletes get hurt on the same workout. Insane

She kept saying how “we do this for fun & idk why it’s taken so seriously” … She’s the woman in your Affiliate who has no desire to progress & is just in class for the social hour, doesn’t care about winning the WOD just wants to look good & have a good time. … Does that make sense? So her being under the movement microscope annoys her because she’s not in this to move well & win the movement competition - think of the athletes that have had their movement faults pointed out & then they correct them … it’s because they *want* to win that game. She wants to be/is a celebrity- CF is just the medium she’s using to be such.
Then she shouldn’t be complaining about being held to standards. Athletes that WANT to be there are held to them. So she should be given a pass cause she wants to be famous….? Please, that’s just celebrating mediocrity and defeats her whole brand.

I was at the event as a volunteer and only saw one water station where you needed credential to get to the area it was. My wife was also there as a spectator and could not find a single water station.

I have to disagree with you on the trail run. There were more than just a few rolled ankles. I passed at least 5 or 6 runners being carried out of the trails during my run. I bike these trails and they are good fun on a mountain bike, but the loose gravel and the design of the trail is not made for trail running. I’m pretty sure this one won’t get a repeat. 😂
Ironic that the two of the strongest athletes CF seem struggle with depth. Take a look at GUIs WB's. Not even close on the majority of reps. He got a could NR's but he never actually changed his depth. Wtf!

They would do daily recaps on their page and mention a promo code at the end and those posts also had "brought to you by strike mvmnt" in the descriptions. The mentioning was a much more subtle, though still there. They didn't plaster it that much. Is that a problem? Or is it more because of the fact that Rebook > TYR? Guessing the issue that they did more rebook ads than coverage. They should look at how sevan works with paperstreet and ca hormones.
