Mr Nabil , this might be the first time I’m commenting on your videos, I have been closely watching most of your videos as a junior orthopod I can’t stress enough how useful and educational they have been to me. I can’t thank you enough for them. Mr O Ahmed Junior Orthopod somewhere in UK
Tyvm sir. Im learning about my broken talus thanks to you. My dumb doctor doesnt tell me unless i ask stuff and rushes to get the next patient and forces me out as quick as possible
How is your recovery going? I fractured my talus 3 months ago and am still having some pain and discomfort when I walk. I can't jog or run obviously. Doc says it can take 6 months to fully heal. He says we will wait 6 months and if I still am having pain, we'll do bone fusion surgery. I'm in distress as I'm hoping to not be permanently injured.
@@revisionfour hello. I can walk and stand on tippy toes. Cant run or exercise. I have problem in dorsaflexion and plantar flexion. Still have swollen ankle. I hope i am not forever injured aswell... hoping a perfect recovery for both of us. And yes it still hurts on sudden movements, stairs and dorsal flexion movements.
@@InJusticeAustralia It has been a long journey but I am doing well now. I had to sell my house and move cross country to get a new Orthopedic surgeon as the one in the east coast was useless. I had the bone fusion surgery this past November. Took a long time to heal and did physical therapy, again. I am now able to walk and lift at the gym with no issues. I do believe I am able to somewhat run and jog but I choose not to, as I do not believe running or jogging is good for the body. I am training for a body building competition and have lost 20 lbs so far, I have another 30 or so lbs to go. I was absolutely terrified that my body building days were over but I am going to shock everyone and will be up on stage again in December. I may not win but at least I am not letting this injury keep me from competing again.
I've recently shattered my tibia & talus, the talus split directly down the middle from front to back. I can't seem to work out how that would effect blood supply and I'm worried about the future & how ill cope & whether or not I'll develop AVN

When performing leg curvature surgery. Will the knee rehabilitation come right after the operation?
