Well done, Sirgant! I read that Dick Griffey cheated Freeway Rick out of the $600K that he invested into The Songtress album. No one has ever had a good thing to say about Griffey or SOLAR Records.
I've never heard anyone incorporate such dynamic bass together with such sophisticated playing all at once on a keyboard. Most piano music is dynamic in the right hand, and octaves, maybe fifths and such, in the left. Sometimes, we even get some tenths in the left. But this - this is a totally different situation. Your family and neighbours must love living near you.

I've had this video saved on my "Favorites" for many years now, and for good reason. It is so well executed and simply lovely to listen to. You do a wonderful job on adding in the voice notes as well, and all comes together as seamless as it could be. This is an incredible song. I’m just blown away by the technical complexity of the keyboard component. There’s so much going on here, it’s no wonder when you add the richness of Anita’s voice let alone the amazing baseline and percussion that you have a truly masterpiece hit song.

Now this is what I call a piano solo; sweet, appealing even. Not all that eccentric jazz stuff with people playing random notes at lightning speed, showing off skill but lacking sweet appeal. Ahhh, I wish I could play like you !

@@paulwwells I’ve heard that version, it’s a bit of a deviation from the original score. It takes on a pop sway feel, instead of the hand clapping , church romp. Also you master the settings on that keyboard with these songs that’s second to none. Thanks a bunch for sharing your talent .

What makes this song so special. It's full of clean soul chords, non musicians nowadays don't know. The chord change at 1:20 in the original recording is remarkable
