also please do the same with UGH because this lyric video is trash. Of course you can have your own interpretation of a song but refusing in the first place to react to explanation videos made me think you just wanted to stay with your own point of view (which is close minded) without considering that bts do make deep and heavy references of their culture, not only that but we don't ask you to this with every song because its not needed for all of them but there is a reason we wanted you to do this for certain songs and its not about proving you right or wrong, like you said you are just new fans and i'm sure army will know better when it comes to bts content. Sooo i'll be hoping that you do the explanation video for ugh as well ✌🏽
Hi guys! Please understand that the reason people are requesting DKDKTV explained videos is because the explanations are giving insight into the Korean language and cultural nuances of the lyrics. When you watch these color coded lyric videos, it truly does not give justice to the song because they're often just put through google translate by non-Korean speakers. I can tell you guys are interested in lyrics because you try to break down the meanings of the song, but we are really coming from a good place when we recommend the explained videos because as non-Korean speakers, it's impossible to truly understand all the cultural references and wordplay they're using.
I'm so sad that you aren't doing the explained videos... As far I know, ARMY don't recommend these explained videos just to prove your theories wrong or anything. Actually, we asked that you do them so that you can just see the pure genius that goes into their lyrics. Because you guys don't speak Korean, there are SO many lyrics that end up lost in translation. Cultural Korean references, Korean and bilingual wordplay are layered into their songs, and to have BTS' intentions explained by bilingual Koreans gives you an insight on why BTS might have written the song, and what they wanted ARMYs to take from it. Again, it's yall's channel, so do whatever you guys want, but I strongly recommend checking them out on your own time. But note: This is exactly what ARMY have been telling you from day 1: a huge reason of why they have so many fans and how they're so popular- their lyrics. So, these explained videos are clear-as-day evidence of our strong claims. Also, there are only like, three "explained" videos that ARMY ask reactors to watch. They are "DDAENG", "UGH!", and another song called "Baepsae". All of BTS' other songs are deep, but understandable straight away. These three are special, because the lyrics are so geniously written that it's hard for english speakers or even sometimes korean speakers to understand. Sometimes you have to be bilingual to understand the lyrics haha. p.s., plz don't react to jaeguchi's channel. Their lyrics are rushed (put out less than an hour after the song is released), and therefore, they're not accurate. 25% of the lyrics you read are not the right translations.
I enjoy your reactions a lot. I do think that you are too focused on “right or wrong interpretations.” For whatever it’s worth, the reason dozens of us are recommending explained by a Korean videos to you is because we know - because you (and many if not most of us) are not Korean and as a result you are missing the fact that in DDAENG RM’s verse used “DDAENG” seven different ways or what the numbers in the song come from and mean. In Ugh, you don’t know the deeper meaning behind “Ahem” in Korean. You guys do a good job of getting just below the surface, but with the rap line there are always multiple layers made up of double and triple entendres, onomatopoeia, and cultural references. If you can get beyond this idea that it has to only be about your interpretation, a whole new world will open up to you when it comes to the genius of BTS. Also, I don’t even care if you watch them as a reaction - what you react to is your choice of course - but I think we BTS fans watch reactions because we love it when other people are blown away by what we were blown away by. With your reactions to BTS (or at least the rap line songs), that deeper “thing” that makes BTS who they are as a group is sometimes missing. It’s just my opinion, of course…and like I said, I do enjoy your thoughtful and respectful reactions.
Yeah for some reason I thought this was a DKDKTV explanation one - the cultural explanations are *huge* for westerns understanding the fullness of a song, and there's many times where a korean word they used isn't translatable in English or has a similar English equivalent, which makes the culture/language explanation videos super helpful when needed.
This song is more for cyberbullying. You got right about everything in the song. When we want to watch u react to the explanation is because of their culture and country. For example this song resonate a lot because some famous people in korea has committed suicide because the malicious comments, in korea this is really something.
Off course you guys can have your own interpretation about the song either Ddaeng or Ugh, I think my fellow ARMY give their suggestions for you guys to watching the explanations of those songs is because its have Korean cultural content in it. The explanations will give you better point of view , and also you guys can watch it in your own time, no need to react to it. Borahae ....
Also try to avoid so color coded lyric videos because some aren’t translated properly or they highlight the wrong member during their parts and most of them just use it for money.
I was waiting on explaining video😭 but thanks for the reaction anyways. As a Korean I highly recommend you to do the explanation by dkdktv ! Cuz no matter how hard you try to know what the lyric says you won't really get the meaning behind it because of the translation😭 Korean language is really hard to be translated into English.
Heyyy this is a random question but do you know all about the BU? If yes then there are some things I don't understand so can you pls help me if you can? I'm new Army and really need someone to explain certain things to me 😭💜
@@inzaghiscornsalad7034 Tysm!! So I wanted to know how many times Jin time travelled, and how does J-hope's backstory connect with his 'illness' which is thinking that he is ill when he isn't? Also there are many songs which don't have any direct connection with BU but still we can find some symbolism in the MVs and lyrics..do you know why?
@@melosasengupta5068 sorry for the late reply but I can answer your question if you wants to know. There is not actual no. Given to us to imagine just how many times jin has time travelled. But its a lot, maybe more then 15-20 times. And about hobi illness. He doesn't have an narcolepsy disease we all thought he has but according to the recent notes. We found out that he has a condition in which he just believes he has narcolepsy. So for now we dont have particular explanation of why Maybe Because of his childhood incident. About bu Actually if bighit didn't wrote bu certified in the description box of mv. Then it's not realted to the bu storyline. But many times bts mv director producers and bts themself use metaphor of the bu and try to make it in bts content. Bts themself says that their album says a story so i think It's just to connect album and to shows that everything connects somehow(example the album concept- hyyh series(part 1 2 and young forever), Love yourself series( her tear answer), map of the soul series(persona and 7) the series connects with each other but not all of their content connects to bu) that's why it can be confusing. Just know that you don't need to know bu to enjoy the album(You can enjoy album separately because it has its own meaning. But if you are interested in bu then it means you can interpret the mv in your own way too by connecting it to the bu stuff too. You know the thing that art can be interpret in many ways. It's something like this. You can make your own interpretations Just Don't stress yourself into knowing everything you will naturally know as time will pass by if you are interested in this things For now just enjoy it . Did you watch xcelete bu summary video? I highly recommend it if you want to know about bu in short summary. th-cam.com/video/2-DEu3ZJtEU/w-d-xo.html
@@Aliyakhan07 Ohh thank you so much😭💜💜 Yeah I've watched xceleste's videos and also read some of the notes but I still had some confusion, thanks for clarifying! And I've been Army for more than 6 months, but I'm just getting into BU now bc many people said it's confusing, but after I started playing the mobile game of bu, I saw Save Me and I Need U in a completely different way, and it was so good! So I'm interested in knowing more about it now
I'm Korean, and I don't think DKDKTV's 'explanation' is not always accurate. It's their way of interpreting. Music is art, and there is no right or wrong answer. I do agree that Korean language is hard to translate into English. DKDKTV does great job of explaining historical or cultural references for sure tho.
Hearing you aren’t interested in react to the explained videos kinda disappoints me as to me reaction channels are only as good as what they can contribute to the conversation and the biggest conversation that non musical background people can have about music is lyrics and you not wanting to allow a discussion for what you have misinterpreted from a song based in a culture that is not your own isnt for me. I really enjoy your guys thoughts and excitement of what you think you figure out and what you do figure out but I and a lot of ARMYs enjoy a community where we can talk about the nuances of BTS music and it kinda shuts down the community side as you’re basically saying we are going to just continue to tell you what we think and not allow discourse as we think it’s a waste of time, which is fine. But not for me. But good luck on your TH-cam journey!
i understand for wanting to make your own interpretations first or not wanting to be convinced but theres some bts songs group and solo songs where its impossible for non korean speakers to ever fully understand the song. UGH is one of those songs. when it involves culture, history, politics and real life events its better to actually know true meaning because thats the point of the creation of the songs. its not a simple interpretation. koreans and people who research korean events are basing it off of facts not really opinion. please reconsider reacting to explanations. you dont need to do it for every single video but bts does have many with historical and cultural references that its a lot youre missing out on when not reacting to explanations. bts lyrics and message are the most important part of bts music and existence they always wanted people to understand what theyre conveying. armys will watch the entire videos as well you can put them all in one video reaction or make multiple videos for song, explanation, dance practice, performance etc. either way we will watch. but please reconsider reacting to explanations. my favorite part of reactions is seeing new people find out how deep bts lyrics actually go. you cant do that without explanations.
@@ZiahTV thankyou so much sorry if my tone came off very strong. im just very passionate about bts lyrics they have such important things to say and majority of people overlook it even most american interviews never go too deep and its almost painful sometimes bc of how amazing the messages are. again sorry if i was rude in any way and thankyou for reconsidering
*HYBE just drop "BTS FESTA 2021"* pleasee react haha i really LIKE your reaction, i mean not reaction coz i can feel that you *UNDERSTAND* what you watching :) *WE PURPLE YOU* 💜
BTS RM-JOKE or( RM-Do you) 6 Years ago when the Joke MV has been released. Joke itself is already iconic. RM shows that he is indeed a monster and that he is an incredible rapper
The explanation for a lot of their videos on DKDKTV are worth it because you won't understand a lot of the Korean meanings and it makes the songs that much better.
Hi, Ziah and Shizi.. I watched your Ddaeng video. But didn't drop any comment. I had a hectic week. Hope both of you have very nice days.. I don't suggest you to watch the explanation videos for forcing you to have the same interpretation. No.. But its will show you.. how amazing bts' members with their works. Better understanding = better appreciation. There are many worldplays which have cultural references. For example, in this song "ttooktook and pookpook" means nothing to non-Korean speakers, right? We just can say.. yeah, it sounds good, fits well with the song. But, it has another meaning. If you still don't want to do that. It's okey.. We can't bother you anyways. 😅 Just do what you like the most. This color coded video has mistake about the line distribution. j-hope' verse is only the one Ziah liked, after the first reff. Before reff, only suga's and RM's verse. I also love j-hope's verse. IMO, he's spitting that bars to people who love to throw hate (anger) to celebrity/idol. It will shock you about the amount of suicide in South Korea, especially on students and celebs. Most of the causes are hate comments, toxic fans/antis, media, etc. ☹ So, when people say that BTS save their lives, it's true. Their songs encouraging people a lot. I knew BTS from their popular songs: DNA and Boy With Love. But I became a fan because of their debut song: No More Dream, talking about youth, school, dream and social expectation.
Ah dang. I was hoping to hear you’d be doing the explanation videos. As someone who actively looks for BTS reaction videos, I like when someone takes the time to understand and look into the song’s intention and meaning from the artists. Explanation videos dive into cultural references and the double and triple word play that just doesn’t translate. For me it truly does add WAY more to appreciating the song and it’s so fun seeing others discover more than just their surface reaction. If anyone is looking for joining a new ARMYs journey on longer, in depth reactions where he listens to the song, reacts, breaks down the bars and will look into and watch the explanation videos all together when it calls for it, check out Toney Reactions! He’s the best fit for me that I’ve found. I’ve been an ARMY for about a year and have been getting into BTS reaction videos lately because I wish I could go back and discover and learn about the songs the way/method I did the first time I heard them. Of course stay and keep supporting these two awesome guys if you want to too:). Not meaning any disrespect in any way at all! Just not what I’m looking for. I wish you guys nothing but the best!
Same. I was disappointed when they said they won't be reacting to the explained vids. Hoping they change their mind. I've watched some of Toneys reactions, he's great! I actually love the long reactions where they combine everything into one video. I'll sit and watch an hour long reaction lol.
@@Mel-tr8sw 100%! I’ll watch really long reactions too. Over 60 min? No problem. I’m in! It’s just such a good and warm feeling to see someone get the whole picture of the song as intended. Sadly, I leave here just feeling unsatisfied like something is off with my day because I don’t know if they ever find everything out or not about each song. To each their own!
@@katchtree I agree, I think I watched a 45 min vid on a 4 min song b/c they really broke it down and had insightful things to say. I also don't really get the why on not watching the explanation vid. Like don't you want to see if you were in the right direction of your interpretation? Getting the cultural references enhances my appreciation of their lyrics. I also watch reaction vids b/c a lot of times they pick up on things that I missed the first or fifth time I've watched something. Also since I don't have many close friends who like BTS or even kpop I feel like I can relate to those who react and break it down. I'll also recommend WhatchaGot2Say as another good reaction channel they fanboy so hard and its great to watch.
Agree with all of you. So disappointing. I give all reactors multiple chances to confirm if they really are sincere, and sometimes it ends in disappointment. Hope these 2 change their mind, but if not....well, guess there are others.
@@spoopyjhope then theyre never gonna fully understand certain songs cause its impossible to understand some of bts songs without korean cultural references especially since the lyric videos are almost always badly translated...plus songs like spring day youll leave it thinking its just a relationship when its so much deeper. its not simply others interpretations its the literal meanings that bts intended. i would understand that type of response for storyline videos but not for songs with actual real world ties and meaning based on history, culture and real life events.
I'm enjoying the way you delve into BTS lyrics, UGH is one my favourites. Absolutely right about how words can tear down or build up. Epiphany by Jin changed my life.💜🇦🇺
oh!! i wanted y'all to watch the ddaeng explanation on your own!! i know y'all don't react to vids like that :D!! you can also watch the explained video for this one if you'd like,, the lyrics in this video aren't particularly wrong perse but there could be a much better translation lol,, thank you guys for your reaction!! really appreciated
The thing about this song is it gets you going, it gets you hyped up, has you bouncing all over the room but then you read the lyrics and it's like damn. A lot of BTS songs are like that, I often say they will make you sing, dance and cry, and sometimes all at once. I get not wanting to watch explanation videos, I myself have not watched all that are available and when I watch lyric videos I try to watch multiples because some have better translations, but as someone who doesn't know Korean I'm not about to tell anybody else which is better. My interpretation in this song is that anger isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it gets misused taking away the true impact of being angry. Like those people who get angry because a studio is remaking another movie, or a certain artist got a #1 Hot 100 billboard song, or people who are willing to shoot someone because they were told to wear a mask while they shop. People getting angry over trivial things so when anger is needed to make a change it just sounds like someone is whining because they didn't get their way. And J-Hope's verse 🙏, all these people are angry but not caring who is getting hurt by their misplaced anger, bullying and suicides, it's a disease. Kind of off topic of the song, but I wanted to share a different perspective from when you were talking about someone's instant becomes someone's moment, but when you guys were talking about your example what came to my mind was Brock Turner, and how his dad said that his son didn't deserve a harsh punishment for 20 minutes of fun, yet it's something that the victim of his assult is going to have to live with and be traumatized for the rest of her life. I'm sure that choice will follow Brock around too but his dad treated it as such a trivial thing like "boys will be boys".
*the explanation is mostly because alot of Korean isn't clearly translated over to English , plus bts writes alot on Korean history and culture , in which you simply just need an explanation on👍✨*
This is what really drew me in to bts in the beginning… it’s extremely easy to make an angry song and a diss track… they’ve received so much hate and pushback as a group even where they’re from bc they’re not doing it the way it’s traditionally done there. However instead of calling someone out and putting hate on their names and sending literally an entire army to jump on that anger train bc someone from bts made it known that someone harmed them in the past and there would be millions of people on that person… that’s the fake anger they’re talking about a bit in this song as well… so not only are they not doing what has become the trend especially in hip hop and rap culture by taking low blows at someone and calling them out… they’re using their voices to show what’s really going on in our world and all this cancel culture type of situation…they’re pointing this idea out and giving a beautifully poetic spin on that aggression. If you don’t know the words then there’s no way we would expect that this is what they’re saying or how much they don’t just talk the talk.. these boys have been walking the walk from the beginning. Even in their older songs that sound a bit rougher… when you read the lyrics and it’s talking about the school system and the oppressed youth through adults expectations… and how it’s okay to find about her way… the highest suicide rate in the world for ages 13-19 are in Korea bc of the societal expectations and how they’re made to feel like they are nothing without getting into certain schools and stuff… like that’s insane… and here we have these guys out here making music to actually help and inspire younger generations. They’re extremely eloquent with what they do and how they do it… and I’m not saying they won’t ever talk shit on their own rap song or whatever like I’ve heard generalizations in their music firing back at hate they’ve received… but with the level of power that they have.. that’s not something they care to do. They truly have the urge to make music with a meaning and to put that energy out into the world… it’s completely authentic and they’re not just hard working but truly gifted with word play… it’s incredibly eye opening and inspiring IMO. I have so much respect for this entire group… I could not be more proud to be an army
You did such a great job about the "misuse of anger"... that's very true about this song... be angry for right reasons not just be angry for the sake of anger.
Thanks for the reacting to more of our boys songs, but I just want to support my fellow ARMYs here. I mean, we’re totally down for your interpretations but the DKDKTV explanation videos won’t ruin it anyway because it’ll give you more insight of how it relates to the Korean cultural aspect, etc. It’ll be more enlightening than ruining your interpretations if that makes sense. It’ll show how clever our boys wrote the lyrics and such. You don’t have to react to it if you don’t want to. You can just watch it in your free time.
Wow! You got there, well done. You are so right about maybe not getting everything the artist means but what you get out of it is important. One of BTS songs Spring Day people can take away the sense of loss and the hopeful message that can help you move on but the deeper meaning is about the Sewol ferry disaster. You don’t need to know those details for the song to help you through your own loss. You guys are amazing. I am really enjoying your reactions, you are really thoughtful in your delving for the meaning 💜
... I don't comment often. But DAMN, I've watched all your BTS videos and omg I just love your interpretations, how u analyze... pls never change, no matter if some dumbo says they want u to speak less. BTS lyrics are so complex I love listening to all perspectives. Ngl, the only bad thing is that I'd wish you'd react to some explanations of songs/BTS lol but that's on u to decide, so it's fine 😂😂 it's just- I'd like to see u learn about them, like recording your ARMY journey, yk? But I understand. Love u guys ! 👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜 Also, if u DO decide to ever react to a BTS documentary, I recommend "The Rise of Bangtan" it's still an ongoing series on youtube by an ARMY, but it's THE best for knowing BTS. As in- knowing them before debut and giving u a perspective of the kpop industry and even why many say BTS surpassed it and just- it's very good. But if not, check it out on your own. I'm sure you'll like it. Have a nice day~ 💜
Agree that this documentary series - by volunteer ARMY - is excellent. It is probably a lot to react to even if you didn’t want to keep to music, but since I think you truly appreciate BTS as artists, I also think you will appreciate BTS - AND be better BTS reactors - for having watched that series on your own time. Of course we ARMY have all knowingly and willingly given all of our free time to BTS and not everyone wants to or is able to do that. 😂
ohh I think you are gonna enjoy some topics in AgustD mixtape D2, love your reaction and also yes DKDKTV is good for cultural references but SUGA/Yoongi himself has said that he doesn't explain the meaning behind their songs because he gives the listener the freedom to interpret them in their own way
Hi guys, thanks for your reaction! My interpretation is that anger is a necessary and meaningful emotion that is required to evoke change i.e. outrage can lead to protests, and holding people accountable may result in actual change. Had we not been angered as a society, we would not have many of the things that we do today. However, in today's world people on the internet get angry over everything so it really diminishes the value of anger. If someone is angry and passionate about something I would stop to hear what they had to say but if people are just angry about everything all the time, I would stop paying attention. Similarly, I think the guys are saying they are angry with the people who are wasting and diminishing the value of anger. 👑
👑 I watched all the way thru😃 and thanks for listening to the boys and reconsidering the dkdktv explain afterwards . When you mentioned you weren't at first I was about to move on but I'm glad I checked comments. Also Lucifer is 😍
I love watching the Korean explanation because I’m a US American and am currently only fluent in English so there’s a lot of references and translations I wouldn’t have gotten before. These lyric videos can only do so much, providing a very simplified ~idea of what they’re rapping/singing. This song is so fun!
Cant wait to hear what you think about DKDKTV's video! I know you wont be reacting to it but maybe watching it on your own. They include lots of cultural references for the song
The lyrics about the drum sound is referring to a Korean saying, "a neighborhood drum" (meaning something that is easy for anyone to hit: an easy target/scapegoat). I really think you should watch the explanation video (even if you don't post a reaction): BTS - 욱 UGH! Explained by a Korean - TH-cam 💜💜💜
If you guys don't want to watch the DKDKTV explanations after your raplines reaction, then maybe to get a good understanding of the lyrics look at Doolsetbangtan. They are the most accurate translations out there. The colour coded are often quite incorrect and miss the wordplay out.
I looooove your reactions! In my opinion, please don’t feel like you can’t stop, go back or talk. I love when you do that. You do you. Your choice. As Jimin says: “You nice, Keep going”. Also just my opinion: I get where you’re coming from. I also don’t think you should watch the explanation video before the actual song. However, there are just some BTS that gets even more layers if you do watch the explanation video after. As you’ve said before, their songs can almost always be interpreted in so many ways, so there’s no right or wrong, but I like 1) the input of references to culture, language and wordplay, and 2) to know What BTS might have intented when writing the song. I feel like it only adds to the song and doesn’t Take away my initial interpretation. It’s totally your decision, but I will just let you know that I’d love to see it - and doing it as a live reaction is a great idea!
please don't worry about pausing too much or for too long.. we really like to hear your own interpretation on the song and breaking the lyrics down.. reactors like you are very rare you know? you nice, keep going 💜💜💜
I think you guys do a really good job analyzing the lyrics on your own. BTS themselves said their music is for you to dissect on your own. They love ARMYs interpretations and theories so just go with it. ARMYs get hung up on people getting the whole story all at once and my Journey was all self directed and I think that's the best way to do it. There are different kinds of ARMYs, the ones Into theories and analyzing, the content creator editor ARMYs, the artist ARMYs, and the ones just soaking it all in. Feel free to be whichever one you want to be
thats fine ..i enjoyed the video and your critical opinion what is the lyrics about. thanks for your time to listen and your hardwork .. forgot to 👸🏻🤴🏻👑
Their live performances is really amazing you can react to there legendary performances like 2018 and 2019 MMA PERFORMANCE and 2020 MAMA performance it’s long but it’s really worth it to watch and I recommend to the two of you to watch their dance practice.
Hi! I'm a Brazilian ARMY, and I'm following your reactions. Regarding the explanatory videos, I think it is extremely important to watch them, not to belittle your reaction, but to clarify your understandings. UGH's lyrics are brilliant, talking about focusing your anger on something that is worthwhile, that really represents something for society, and especially about TH-camrs, who often use artists (positively/negatively) and benefit from it. That's why I think it's very IMPORTANT to watch the explanatory videos, precisely to understand the genius of the BTS lyrics, which are much deeper, more intelligent, and more representative than we can imagine. BTS is phenomenal, I suggest reacting to CYPHERs 1,2,3 and 4.
There were a few people in Korea who commited suicide because they were Idols like BTS and fans were continously berating them for their weight, their songs, their clothes, so these people were reading these horrible comments and asked people to stop and they said these people became famous so they should take their comments, it was horrible. This was Suga's friends well they all knew these people and this song was written to deal with their feelings. BTS often speaks to problems and situations that hurt young people today so you guys are very right in what you got out of it. Don't feel like you need to do everything people say remember its your video, they can watch the video on their own time if they want to watch it play thru.
I respect your choice to do whatever you want to do. These reaction videos are for BOTH your and our enjoyment. And just like you, sometimes, I would prefer to appreciate the explanation videos on a more quiet time. I would suggest you do watch one of those on your own time because the explanation videos are cool too and a great way to appreciate their culture. :). Keep it up!
Thank you for the reaction! New patreon subscriber here. For future this lyric channel has awful translations. I do wish you would react to the explained vids though from dkdktv. Either way thank you and look forward to the next one!💜
I'm glad you reconsidered watching the DKDKTV explanation and I'm looking forward to watching it. (With the exception of cutting off the ending of the song, I thought your use of pausing was near perfection in this video.) I think you need to understand that even if you choose to not go down the rabbit hole with everything BTS, Army responds best to a holistic approach to their music. We *want* you to watch their MV first and give your first impressions, but we don't view that as the end of the story - we also want to know what you think after you have a fuller understanding. I think it's hard for Western reactors to get their head around the idea of diving deeper, but BTS is not simply a Korean group who makes catchy music with nice hooks. They are literally philosophers and it's disappointing when someone shows no interest in better appreciating that, their culture, and their personalities. How the song makes you feel when you organically hear it fresh will stay the same, and potentially grow, if you allow yourself to experience the song through their intended meaning as well. If you'd rather just do quick reacts to BTS songs here and there, that's totally fine. But honestly, it was your tendency to try to analyze meanings that led to the expectation that you would be interested in the actual meanings later. Many Army will stick around for the random BTS video. But for the Army who are here to watch your BTS journey, whether or not you actually become Army yourselves, will be turned off by a lack of follow up when the opportunity to better understand exists. I hope your channel finds its balance, and thank you for the upcoming explanation video.
Great reaction! Don‘t mind people who complain about pausing and do it your way. There are enough reactions out there with less pausing. If I want less commentary, I can watch the lyrics videos or music videos by myself. A tip for future reactions: Please use the lyric videos from aftaehyung or Zaty Farhani, especially aftaehyung. They have much more accurate translations. Lemoring and Jaeguchi have mostly more views because they are the fastest but it is like using google translation.
AHHHHH it really pains me because these lyric videos by jaeguchi have like 76 mistakes, and im not even kidding LOL these people who do the lyric videos aren't even Korean.... T______T it literally kills my soul when people use their videos for interpretation.
Happy to see you following your dreams, North, more than happy to give you some of uncle sam’s money to support. Love you buddy, I’m not really into BTS, but hey, I’ll watch for you
I'm honestly not too fond of a lot of reaction vids esp new ones as most are obviously reacting to bts just to build up subscribers. I do watch a few but only because they give fresh insights on lyrics and mvs. And yeah, I watch your reactions since I noticed you take time to analyze and unpack meanings behind BTS songs. These guys esp the rapline are such geniuses when it comes to lyrics that it'll be a shame to just look on the surface every time you hear their masterpieces. I'm not a fan of DKDKTV since they've done some problematic shit in the past, but I gotta admit they did a great job explaining the most complex but very relevant lyrics of bts. Being Korean American, those guys can explain important messages and cultural nuances that can be lost in translation. Armys are used to digging hidden messages in BTS contents, but a huge portion of us are non-Koreans which limits us from digging deeper. But anyway, I just feel it's a missed chance to fully understand some of their iconic songs.
@@EnjoyBTSmore that's great! I'm always thankful for those who translate bts contents which BH didn't bother to put subs on, esp old clips. BTS is already known worldwide so naturally people outside Korea would want to know and understand and I WANT them to understand. So thank you for your effort, I sure will check it out 💜
Waiting you react all the 'cypher pt.1 until 4' and 'what do you think' by agust D. I respect you a lot because you listened almost one verse, then you analyse that, so not just hype about the melody or the music or the beat, because lyrics still part of art and music.. thank you for that reaction and I am waiting for my request 🤗
Thank you for the shoot out and you were right, you did jack up my. I get it all the time. It's pronounced Jocklynn, with a French twist. Blame my dad 😅😂
Anger is part of your heart beside happy and sad... Here a song about manage your Anger. For them, anger of haters made them depressed because that angers make the truth became lie and the lies became true .. Then at BTS angers, they made a song to make bts anger become positive and make army understand to manage their anger.... Races .. why their angers become destructive to other, why not make protest to races and help build up the stronger community to help and protect each other, so your anger become positive.... Do not deny your anger but make the anger to something positive then in the future you realize how good you are . Hater's anger in Kpop already made bts friends suicide (2020, there were idols who suicide after chat live on-line with cried a lot)....
Just a word of advice for the future! Do not use Jaeguchi or Lemoring as options for lyric videos. Those two channels are well known to rush their videos out as soon as possible for views and therefore contain numerous mistakes in the translation. I am also pretty certain neither are actually fluent in Korean and are just using translation sites, hence all the mistakes.
Ddaeng ✅ Ugh! ✅ Now you have to do Outro:Tear pleeeaassee and i’d have you know that all of us were twerking to this masterpiece but then later (months after im not sure) when they revealed on an award speech that the rappers basically wrote this for the members when they were considering to disband. Yoongi’s line especially made sense... 💔
We posted an update on reacting to DKDKTV videos! Please check out our post! th-cam.com/users/postUgzgbCEEQTT8tZOEFr54AaABCQ
Must watch the live performance of ugh...its so intense and hype
also please do the same with UGH because this lyric video is trash. Sooo i'll be hoping that you do the explanation video for ugh as well ✌🏽
👸🏻🤴🏻👑😆
Pls react to cypher 2,3,4,and tear by bts plss
👑
Some friendly advice: avoid Jaeguchi lyric videos. They don't have good translations.
FYI: Some of the lyrics in this are not particular accurate. Enjoyed!
ahhh......literally there's like 300 mistakes in this lyric video....sigh
But note:
This is exactly what ARMY have been telling you from day 1: a huge reason of why they have so many fans and how they're so popular- their lyrics.
I learned so much about Korea by watching the explained videos and appreciate the genius behind BTS's lyrics.
It’s just my opinion, of course…and like I said, I do enjoy your thoughtful and respectful reactions.
also the "frog stuck in a well" in Ddaeng.. i find it fascinating too..
Suga is known for his tongue technology aka his spit fire rap and how he goes hard and leaves no crumbs
Well said. Short, polite and right on the money.
I'm new Army and really need someone to explain certain things to me 😭💜
@@melosasengupta5068 i mean i do know some shit so ask away i'll try
So for now we dont have particular explanation of why
Maybe Because of his childhood incident.
You can make your own interpretations
Just Don't stress yourself into knowing everything you will naturally know as time will pass by if you are interested in this things
For now just enjoy it .
Did you watch xcelete bu summary video?
I highly recommend it if you want to know about bu in short summary.

So I'm interested in knowing more about it now
"I thought his name was Suga not flame."🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I love that!!
I agree. I was so disappointed when I heard them say that and for their lack of interest in delving a tiny bit to get the full flavor of the song.

@@ZiahTV Thank you for doing it!!!
Hi Zoee I suggest you (My mind react) a new reactor it is authentic it takes our sudgestion to heart he is very active a lot of video every day:)
I love the way Ziah analyzes and interprets the lyrics... Very intellectual and reflective.
Thank you so much 😊
i understand for wanting to make your own interpretations first or not wanting to be convinced but theres some bts songs group and solo songs where its impossible for non korean speakers to ever fully understand the song.

6 Years ago when the Joke MV has been released. Joke itself is already iconic. RM shows that he is indeed a monster and that he is an incredible rapper
The explanation for a lot of their videos on DKDKTV are worth it because you won't understand a lot of the Korean meanings and it makes the songs that much better.
We posted an update about it in our community tab! Definitely worth checking it out!
I PURPLE BTS💜💜💜 I LOVE 방탄소년단! Thanks for reaction😍
So, when people say that BTS save their lives, it's true.
@@HeyMe7 exactly! You say that all really well and I feel the exact same way. I LOVE watchagot2say!! Never fail to put a smile on my face.
Agree with all of you. So disappointing. I give all reactors multiple chances to confirm if they really are sincere, and sometimes it ends in disappointment. Hope these 2 change their mind, but if not....well, guess there are others.
PLEASE react to ugh explained by dkdktv
They just said they wouldn't react to explanation videos-
@@spoopyjhope then theyre never gonna fully understand certain songs cause its impossible to understand some of bts songs without korean cultural references especially since the lyric videos are almost always badly translated...plus songs like spring day youll leave it thinking its just a relationship when its so much deeper. its not simply others interpretations its the literal meanings that bts intended. i would understand that type of response for storyline videos but not for songs with actual real world ties and meaning based on history, culture and real life events.
@@VictoriaLovesMusic yeah but it's their choice tbh, I'd be happy to watch their reactions to it but we can't force them either
Even BTS know DKDKTV and have appreciated their explanation bcz it has made fans understand the korean cultural references and their songs more.

JK?!? 😂😂

I lOVE LOVE this song! Thank you! They performed this LIVE yesterday for Festa week on BANGTAN TV (you tube) :)
👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜👑💜
Also, if u DO decide to ever react to a BTS documentary, I recommend "The Rise of Bangtan" it's still an ongoing series on youtube by an ARMY, but it's THE best for knowing BTS.
Another great genius wordplay by the BTS Rap line. 'OUTRO: TEAR'
ohh I think you are gonna enjoy some topics in AgustD mixtape D2, love your reaction and also yes DKDKTV is good for cultural references but SUGA/Yoongi himself has said that he doesn't explain the meaning behind their songs because he gives the listener the freedom to interpret them in their own way
Hi guys, thanks for your reaction! 👑
I honestly love your interpretations
Please reaction BTS ROOM LIVE FESTA,it's really good...
They did UGH on the live Festa video today. Even if you don't to a reaction, make sure to watch it.
I can’t get enough of this song. I just love it so much. Makes you want to work out harder
SUGA's name is derived from his position when he used to play a lot of basketball (Shooting Guard - Shoo Gua - SUGA)
Thankyuu for your reaction to this song
I really like this song because the message they put in it. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cant wait to hear what you think about DKDKTV's video! I know you wont be reacting to it but maybe watching it on your own. They include lots of cultural references for the song
The flows in this song are insane
Feel free to be whichever one you want to be
I love your interpretation
'You nice , keep going ' - Jimin
thats fine ..i enjoyed the video and your critical opinion what is the lyrics about. thanks for your time to listen and your hardwork .. forgot to 👸🏻🤴🏻👑
Their live performances is really amazing you can react to there legendary performances like 2018 and 2019 MMA PERFORMANCE and 2020 MAMA performance it’s long but it’s really worth it to watch and I recommend to the two of you to watch their dance practice.
우와! 조금 전에 마이크드랍 리액션 봤는데, 새 영상이 올라와있네요 😊 UGH 노래도 좋아요! 💜
Raise your hands if you're ready to see this performance in 2021 FESTA😍😁. 💜💜
Always looking forward to your reactions on bts songs!!! Keep up the great work!
Hi! Can I suggest you BTS' yesterday ROOM LIVE?
For their anniversary they sing a medley of seven songs in 10 minutes (including UGH!) (:
Great work as always guys...!!!👑👑💜💜
I respect your choice to do whatever you want to do. These reaction videos are for BOTH your and our enjoyment. And just like you, sometimes, I would prefer to appreciate the explanation videos on a more quiet time. I would suggest you do watch one of those on your own time because the explanation videos are cool too and a great way to appreciate their culture. :). Keep it up!
I waited for this so bad! Thanks guys! :)
Pls do their live performance
If you want to understand this song check UGH explaination by dkdktv
Thank you for the reaction! New patreon subscriber here. For future this lyric channel has awful translations. I do wish you would react to the explained vids though from dkdktv. Either way thank you and look forward to the next one!💜
I'm glad you reconsidered watching the DKDKTV explanation and I'm looking forward to watching it. (With the exception of cutting off the ending of the song, I thought your use of pausing was near perfection in this video.)
I think you need to understand that even if you choose to not go down the rabbit hole with everything BTS, Army responds best to a holistic approach to their music.
I do love this reaction especially since they performed part of UGH as a part of FESTA today ♡
Please Next Outro:Tear & live tour 🔥
AHHHHH it really pains me because these lyric videos by jaeguchi have like 76 mistakes, and im not even kidding LOL
these people who do the lyric videos aren't even Korean....
T______T it literally kills my soul when people use their videos for interpretation.
Happy to see you following your dreams, North, more than happy to give you some of uncle sam’s money to support. Love you buddy, I’m not really into BTS, but hey, I’ll watch for you
I wish you could react to the live performance of this, from their MOTS ONE CONCERT. it's dope.
👑 Well done, guys! Great to know that you did the explanation video.
Please reaction BTS Festa new live performance at Bangtantv Chanel thx u for your reaction can't wait
also noooooooo we mean you should listen to the song and read the lyrics and THEN watch the explained versions guys 😭
I really enjoy your reactions.
Cant wait to see yall react to cypher series!!
*Please react to the DKDKTV explanation of UGH, it's really deep!!!*
👑👑 you guys are good at the lyrics. Keep doing it! It's nice to see your Reactions. Very interesting to hear your Reactions. Nice Job.👌👍👍
8:28 “in this place” could also just be the internet.🤷🏻♂️
So thank you for your effort, I sure will check it out 💜
You guys should really react too "outro:tear live" is so powerful and the lyrics are amazing!
8:00 that's suga's part :) that vedio you guys watched is don't know abou bts and also translating wrong
Lets check dkdktv channel for explanation this song. .
You guys are pretty closed to what the lyrics mean! Love you guys reaction!! Keep it up 💜
Please react to BTS Rap line “Cypher 4” live performance. You guys will definitely enjoy it. 💜
Answear : Love myself Live
Waiting you react all the 'cypher pt.1 until 4' and 'what do you think' by agust D. I respect you a lot because you listened almost one verse, then you analyse that, so not just hype about the melody or the music or the beat, because lyrics still part of art and music.. thank you for that reaction and I am waiting for my request 🤗
Thank you for the shoot out and you were right, you did jack up my. I get it all the time. It's pronounced Jocklynn, with a French twist. Blame my dad 😅😂
Some of these lyrics videos have incorrect translations... but, you guys will get the overall feel.
I am also pretty certain neither are actually fluent in Korean and are just using translation sites, hence all the mistakes.
next please react "bts festa 2021" and "bts tiny desk concert" thankyouu guyss 💜💜💜🤗🤗
Ddaeng ✅
Ugh! ✅
Now you have to do Outro:Tear pleeeaassee and i’d have you know that all of us were twerking to this masterpiece but then later (months after im not sure) when they revealed on an award speech that the rappers basically wrote this for the members when they were considering to disband. Yoongi’s line especially made sense... 💔
