one of the best bands eve rincluded for sure on my Top 20 bands of all times...... i am very happy i found them... love it big time.... Christina's voice is more than angelical, perfect for this type of prog music. so as the guitarr and the rest... many years and succes for these guys for many years to come.. kudos to all...!
ELP one of my favourite bands. Saw Magenta at Nearfest and was blown away. What a great band. Great version. Nice to see this much talent is still out there.
Whoops ... is there any problem with trying to imitate the original? I just spent a week in COVID-19 isolation doing that exact thing! th-cam.com/video/qOVbm8ElWeM/w-d-xo.html
Love Magenta so much. Question, how is it that in 55 years on this planet I have never, not even once, been able to communicate with 'folky people' ? I am a guitarist and get along with people from all walks of life but alas, not 'folkies'. Can some one explain the secret of why ?
there's two school of thoughts when it comes to doing covers. some like to try to make a perfect copy and others like to make it their own. I think here Magenta was write to do it as if it was their own song. They also did a version of Wonderous Stories by YES. I wish they'd do a whole album of covers.
+anonymusum Excuse me, but didn't people say of ELP "Shame on you for taking orchestral music and playing it on a synth"? If a cover is going to be the same, why record it?
Great Song ELP GREG LAKE RIP 🙏

Preciosa version femenina de in clasico.
Wonderful job, thanks Magenta
I love this song. Your cover of it is my favorite version.
R.I.P. Greg Lake.
Its so good to be hearing Bands, Keeping the Music Alive! Love em
Outstanding. I am glad they didn't try to imitate the original. They made it their own, and it works.

...a się pan Robert rozkochał w coverach😊
I'm a bit of a traditionalist with ELP, but Magenta make it their own.
Man those PRS guitars get a great tone.
Great cover. They didn't copied the original. A new approach to the song, and well done. Just one thing: Where are the keyboards?
simply beautiful ; love it when they cover elp/king crimson :there is a live played in someones room! of classic epitaph cant find ;anyone know?
Excellent! (And I'm quite partial to the original ;-)
I like Magenta in general, and I appreciate the homage to ELP, but ... sorry, they missed the mark here.
you are totally fanning glory here Krinkle
Beautiful.
Punk was better though, yeah right.
Not bad, not as good as Frosts cover of Fanfare For The Common Man though.
Yeah but Greg doesn't compare
Shame on you - one of the most iconic synth solos in history replaced by a standard guitar solo.

you totally blow for that; there is no reason to say
that goof ball.
