Thank you Pankaj for explaining Narrow casting and Wide casting in OOPS ABAP so well with example. I have a very basic question related to "Wide casting". If by the help of inheritance concept only we can access the methods and attributes of the super class in the sub class then what makes the concept of "Wide Casting" so specific.

Sir ji, Wide casting concept pe doubt hai. I think, Wide casting is used to retain Super class method. So you need extra memory which will have duplicate SUPER class ref and in wide casting pass that ref back to Super , to retain SUPER method!
