Grunge/Alternative Rock was the last authentic movement. Mainstream music, television, film merged the commercial side with the creative side. The quality of works was huge. This band that was old news and wouldn't make it was The Beatles. we are at that point, rock is something macbooks can't kill. Rock will live on, we just don't know who will carry the flag. I love old music but don't miss out on what could be great.

i'd say not too long after the release of high/low, nulle part ailleurs would sometimes invite bands that were not necessarily well-known to promote their new album and i'm guessing that's the case here
Heartless I used to think that too. I thought they got more credit than they deserved and while that whole scene went on I definitely like Pearl Jam, Alice and soundgarden better. However they were the first to break through (I know pj and soundgarden had albums before them) and I think people forget how bad music had gotten. Shit like white snake and warrant dominated back then. It would almost be like if nirvana were to break through today. Could you imagine if they began their career during this era of electronic garbage? Kinda the same scenario
