- So, you wanna know my Top 5 Favorite Gods in SMITE? Well here they are! It was hard to narrow it down to just 5, but these are the Gods I enjoy more than any other! Ravana would have been on this list if he had his old kit but unfortunately I find his rekit pretty bland and not as much fun as his old kit.

5. Chronos - Only god in the game that can say 20k tower damage per game is normal.
4. Thor - My third diamond. As an assassin thor to me kinda gives the utility of a warrior. Plus, he's actually scarily tanky mid-late game.
3. Bakasura - My first diamond ever. This god literally defines me whenever I'm hungry. Let me tell you, now since that small buff I haven't been able to play him cause he's getting banned at low lv play.
2. Rama - The only hunter that actually requires in-hand skill. His kit literally revolves around autos, and I love it. Plus he has the greatest BM laugh in the universe.
1. Bellona - Rally Here. Need I say more? When she got released I fell in love. Her kit and passive on release were so broken that even with a sprint popped she could still run up to you and Roma Invicta. Now 4-5 nerfs later, she's still a badass!

Just tried Smite for the first time a few days ago and immediately picked Ratatoskr just because he made me think of Fizz from LoL (cutesy assassin that's probably embarrassing to lose against from those that take themselves too seriously). I don't quite know who I'd put in what order, but all I know is Ratatoskr is my absolute favorite God to play in Smite.
I have to thank you raynday. I started maining as agni and eventually watched your "ways to be a better smite player" video. From there I looked for a good god for each class. From playing I found anhur and ravana, but barely scraped the surface of them. I soon went and looked for your gameplay, and now those two have joined my permanent roster.

5. Zeus, my second ever diamond, the first god I picked up in smite, I've had some great times w/ him. Really fun to 100-0 people/
4. Nemesis, the second god I ever played in this game, I love being able to just stick to people and smash their faces in with a massive sword.
3. Rama, really satisfying ult, fun play style, only hunter I like.
2. Tied Between Nu Wa and Scylla. (I guess this is cheating sorta.) Two different mages I love for the simple ability to blow people up.
1. Poseidon, my first Diamond, favourite god hands down. I love his utility, his control, his great clear, his amazing Kraken ult, everything is so fun and satisfying.

I gotta say Raynday, I've been an avid guardian smite player, since day 1. I love being the backbone for my team, and as you put it in think Another one of your videos, being a guardian is a thankless job. but you know what? when I look at my stats at the end game and my heals with sylvanus beat out the enemy Ra, or Hell I feel pretty good about it.

I value movement and damage the most. (Hence why Bastet, Nemesis, and Neith are in my top 3.) I just love being a character who - most of the time - has no trouble finding their way atop the scoreboards.
But I do find enjoyment it being able to take a hit or two and just run around bullying the enemy team. (Which is why I love Wukong and Guan Yu.) I just love the annoyance factor of these two, because I myself get pretty riled up when I come across a player who can really play these two gods good. So they're pretty fun in my eyes, too.

I'm new on your chanel like game as well. After watching few of your videos I can say you're cool, easy going dude which is nice to follow. You have a interesting voice what always bring flavour to a channel. These clip showing one more thing to - you as aware person and player who know what and why want, can say it straight and clearly... not like most of youtubers who simply coments often without any sense only making fun and noise. My respect bro
5. Raijin - I love how dynamic his kit is and how it synergizes with itself. Which drum beats to use during his ult is a decision you have to make in a split second, but it can often win or lose a teamfight. There's so much to discover with his kit.
4. Awilix - Again, her abilities interact with each other so nicely. The perfect assassin in my opinion.
3. Freya - Pretty much the same reasons as yours: She can carry games by herself, and I really like the way she feels.
2. Anhur - There are a lot of ways to use your abilities offensively or defensively on Anhur, and that dictates your entire playstyle on him. His autos feel really good, and his pillar combo is super satisfying.
1. Janus - Yet again, there are a lot of ways to use his abilities with regards to each other. Whether to use your 3 on yourself or on enemies, how to use your 1, and whether to try and hit 1 squishy target with the back of your 2 when the balls converge or whether to try to get multiple enemies with 1 side of it are all super awesome decisions you have to make in order to play the god perfectly. I will never get bored of playing him.

1: Nox - I love how she can lock down a target and nuke them, and if not, she still got that CC, and a long-range ult to finish people off. Her 3 is also incredibly fun with the right teammates. Liked her old kit too actually (got me my first penta).
2: Ah Puch - Nukes, anti heals, that massive ult, and fairly nice sustain.
3: Hades - Dmg, mobility, CC, heals, some tankiness... He is the magical equivalent of a Warrior. Just missing some proper range really.
4: Xing Tian - I like his aggresive warrior-like nature, fighting face-to-face while sticking to targets easily with his combo of CC and mobility (yes, even when his root was still just a slow).
5: Ravana - What you said in the video.
(Honorable mentions: Arachne, Serqet, Chiron, Hou Yi, Anubis, Isis, Hel, Aphrodite, Khepri, Sobek)
I have a fairly varied taste I would say, though I do prefer the mage role. One thing you may notice, is that 4 of my top 5 all have a dark theme to them: The night herself, a bloodthirsty necromancer, a dark lord, and an unyielding undead warrior.
You see my "thing" is this love for things of a dark, evil and/or horrific nature. Monsters, undead, demons, dark magic/myths/legends etc. I'm very much a nerd at that stuff.
Of course, the gameplay is the most important thing, but if you also really like the character you are playing that helps a lot. If it is a problem, a nice skin might fix it.
Interesting list, Rayn, my man. And I get what you're saying about the link between your preference of some specific god kits and your personality. This got me thinking about my favorite gods and why I enjoy playing them.
So my list would be:
1) Aphrodite
2) Skadi
3) Khepri
4) Guan Yu
5) Sol
Skadi and Sol are the odd ones out here, because if the list would continue it would contain Athena, Geb, Ama, Hel, Chang'e, utility Nu Wa. So I really enjoy playing support characters. Not necessarily tanks, but gods that help out, support and set up kills, more than look for that last hit. Which is in accordance with how I am IRL. Being a psych graduate I often find that the most fulfilling thing for me is to help people through their darkest times. Help them fight and that translates into how I play Smite.
Skadi and Sol are 2 of the few "carries" I actually enjoy to play a lot. Come to think of it, as Skadi, you're really just a support for Kaldr. :P And Sol just has a delightful personality ("Kaboom!" - I was so sad when she was bugged out and wouldn't say it anymore, "Keep it toghether, girl!").
I wonder what being a Loki and Ao Kuang main says about your personality. :)

Gosh I love your vids! My inner nerd was awakened to SMITE, and im like nerding out on TH-cam vids. I like yours the best! So far at the end of the videos I watched, is an inspiration that I can take away. My fave so far is Neith and Chang'e. Like you said I think I just have a connection with them. I like that feminine and elegant power. I just started so yeah only got 2!
5) Ares, one of the few guardians that can shutdown highly mobile gods and snag kills for himself and his team easily (As a tank, not a carry). 4) Xbal, great passive to help him snowball early game, cc immunity, and darkest night that help secure kills across the map. 3) Apollo, he's a great split pusher and difficult to gank overall. 2) SWK- takes a lot of precision but highly gratifying once you master his kit. I've played him as both a solo, middle and gurdian. 1) Chacc (my first diamond) - he's highly versatile (like SWK) and his kit is loaded. An underrated God so I can usually surprise people when I'm dominating solo lane against other warriors and sometimes mages.
I may have a problem because I just dont like any god besides Loki. I dont want to be a scum in every single game so I play way more gods but I dont have the amount of fun that I have playing Loki. Pls help.

Love the videos man! I've watched pretty much all of your god guides haha, and they've really helped me pick up players and do well in game when I stream! I would say for me, the most important things I look for in a god is 1. Do they have an escape? and 2. Do they have a CC ability that isn't their ult!
Since everyone else is doing it:
1. Hel- My second diamond. I LOVE juggling around between healing and incredible burst damage.
2. Khepri- My third diamond and my best support. He's able to do what a lot of guardians can't and be a sure fire, immediate rescue.
3. Athena- My fourth diamond. Get that soul reaver going and watch the squishy characters run.
4. Chang'e- My fifth diamond. I've only just recently started to appreciate how wonderful she can be and how helpful her sustainability is.
5. Scylla- My first diamond. My stats are horrid because she was who I started playing first, but she's a very satisfying god to get pentas with. >:)
Top 3 gods:
1. Khepri. By far, khepri. His ultimate is one of the most unique in the game and can really keep your team going in the late game. Not only that, his 1 is super support-y and he can pretty much ensure a kill if he gets you and drags you into a group behind him. But the real reason to love khepri is because he saves people. He can root or drag chasers, bodyblocks like a house, and can assist with his 2 to make sure that his teammates are winning the damage race. Plus, his passive is amazing. It really comes in handy when your team is first exiting and runs into agression but just shrugs it off. Even better, he is one of the tankiest gods. Not only can he take towers like its nothing, I've had many hilarious experiences of Loki suddenly appearing behind me and assassinating while I watch my health bar stay there, calmly look at him, and drag him into the hands of a waiting assassin behind me. Plus I love his lore and voice samples, perfect for a guardian.
2. Hades. He was my first mastered god and the sign of when I really started getting into smite. His abilities can both chase and protect him, and he's got great synergy with both himself and other gods. He's plenty tanky as well, so I can dive fairly efficiently, and plus I love the looks of all of his skins.
3. Geb, because rolling out to mid map throwing a shield to one of your teammates and rolling straight back to base ( I spec for cdr so my rollout is pretty much recharged as soon as it ends. 5s, maybe.) is hilarious. His escape is probably only second to jing-wei's, and the fact that he gets protections during it is amazing. He's also great at minion control and saving people as well. I like support :P

My friend recently got me into this game. As recent as a week ago so I don't have many gods that I like but right now I am a huge fan of Zeus. I like playing him and behind able to push back the enemy team if given the chance in area. Though I don't really know how to build the other gods well I would like to try and mess around with other gods in the future. Not a great player at the moment but practice makes perfect.
+Chad Findlay absolutely does Chad. Keep playing and learning and you will experience growth in your game and hopefully, more fun every time you step out onto the battlefield :)
I never thought to write it down but:
5. Skadi - She is quickly up in rank of my favorite to play. The fact that she is so gankable hasnt detered me, I think its because she reminds me of my favorite class in WoW
4. Aphrodite - my first Legendary (pre-launch days), I played her almost exclusively back in 2013.
3. Athena - Support is actually my favorite role and for me, Athena is the best.
2. Freya - Too easy and too fun as you said.
1. Bastet - She is for me what Anhur is for you. She is the god that best suits my play style and feels the most natural.

Can't really get in to Terra yet. But I found out some gods need time to appreciate them, so we'll see. I play her if needed now. Athena is really awesome, but for some reason I find Bachhus and Odin more fun to play. Must be the jumping thing. Athena needs a jump! ;)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i am only level 19 and i have not played many gods.
5. Ra - the sun beam and the ult are some very fun abilities and he can also heal.
4. Agni - he is not that easy to play and killing ppl with him is very satisfiying. I also love his ult.
3. Thot - he haves an interesting kit and his barrier that makes projectiles travel longer is a very fun ability + i like his walking animation.
2. Ah puch- he haves such an original kit and he can deal a lot of damage. His passive also gives him some nice self sustain and it gives u the choice of if u want to explode the corpses or use them to heal yourself and reduce the cooldown of undead surge to deal more damage. I also like how he looks.
Before i go to number 1 here are some honorable mentions
Sun wukong- one of the only gods who is not a mage and i realky like. His 72 transformations ability is a really cool ability and his ult is good for escaping from a bad situation.
Nu wa- i like the ult and the clay soliders but in rest i do not see anything special at her.
Janus - very interesting kit , he looks cool i like his abilities but its not enough to put him in the top 5.
Vamana - his abilities do a lot of damage and his ultimate is one of my favourites in smite + he is dank
Bakasura - his eat minion and ultimate are really cool abilities. I just wish he was a bit more mobile. Like his 3 to give him some movememt speed.
And number 1 - the morrigan - her abilities do a significant amount of damage and with poly your basic atacks will do a ton of damage . The ult is interesting and complex but i mostly just transform in the god with the most powerful ult in the match and use his ult. Also i like her passive becauses its good for clearing jungle monsters and minion waves and her invisibilitu because u can use it to evade thanatos ult ,get out of ares and da ji chains and many more.

5.- Bacchus. I like the idea of being a guardian and also make suffer the other team
4.- Kumbhakarna. It's so simply and so deadly
3.- Odin/Tyr. Both are gods that you can make them tanks and still make a lot of damage
2.- Guan yu. Love to help others with his heal ability
1.- Neith. She is the first one I learned how to play without any guide, that's why she has a special place in my gaming hearth

Here's my list: 5) Chang'e - first of all I adore the concept of her design. I love her passive, rabbit ftw. Her stun potential and mobility are insane, especially with one of her dances providing immunity.4) Nu Wa - yet again ability to stun whilst giving out a burst of damage is amazing imo + I love catching people fleeing team fights with my ult.3) Arachne - for me her kit is amazing. She's really easy to lane with as well due to her webs. I was actually forced into solo laning against a Freya as her the other day and completely dominated the lane, especially early game.2) Neith - I really like Neith's high cc ability and abilities offered from her kit, like infinite roots from her 1! And that global ult tho.1) Aphrodite - 'for love!' The goddess of love and beauty ranks in as my all time favourite. This is due to the fact that her kit is amazing. 1 - come at me, I'll stun you. 2 - lol gtfo away from me whilst taking a burst of damage. 3 - healsies for a moi and major damage for y'all. 4 - nah me and my teammate good with my boss immunity. If you pair Aphro up with a sanctuary you're more a less invincible. 2 immunities, a stun, a knock back and healing. Like seriously, op. And once you start stacking, the other team are done. Omg the whole enemy team rotated to gank me in mid the other week when I was alone and they failed miserably and I gave my whole team enough time to appear and destroy them.
Ultimately I definitely lean more towards Mage gameplay, however an escape is key for me. Nu Wa somewhat lacks this but if done at the right time her ult offers immunity and enough time for your teammates to hone in on the enemies.

Not sure why I like them, but I enjoy helping teammates out while also being able to handle myself in a fight. All of these gods have some sort of crowd control that can assist a teammate in securing a kill or escaping so that probably has something to do with it. I respect your opinion on destiny by the way. I feel the same way because there's something I want desperately to do in my lifetime.

2) Ratatoskr - Diverse kit that has the potential to have the highest damage in the game in the beginning (Bluestone + Power Pot + T1 Acorn = 40 Physical Power)
1) Sylvanus - As you said for Anhur, he just clicks. I like sustain which is what Sylvanus is all about, and I know that I'm good with him when I can land the grab consistently (with and without the 1's root).

4. Sun Wukong (First warrior I picked up. Just really love his kit, and the warrior glory days)
3. Kumbhakarna (So much CC and I love damaging supports. Just a really fun god.)
2. Sobek (I really like the animal-inspired gods, and the pluck is so fun.)
1. BACCHUS (First god I got to rank ten, and I love his playstyle so much. Going damage and melting, or even going full tank and still carrying my team with the highest damage. If I ever need to win a game, I go Bacchus.)

1. Vamana - Who doesn’t love that passive?
2. Jing Wei - Throw teleport on her and you can get away from most of what they enemy throws at you.
3. Ullr - He has 7 abilities.
4. Xing Tian - With teleport you can severely punish a team who is too close together and throw them into your team just to knock em in the air and root them in place almost guarantees a team wipe.
5. Erlang Shen - He can just be super aggressive with that spear toss into weasel tackler and basic attack bonus, If you need to heal stay on the field a little longer his ult can save you if you’re careful.
6.Thoth - The damage output to a team or a single target is insane, my favorite part is the evade and punish is a unique tool that can save him or an ally or just open up an opponent.
Yikes. Not sure if I could select five and ONLY five of my most favourite gods...but, I'm going to give it a shot!
5: Medusa - As almost any Smite newcomer, I enjoyed how Medusa felt, as well as almost any hunter I played. But, how well Medusa can either wipe minions with her gaze, hit a nice CC on a batch of gods, or even quickly slither away, she's still absolutely fun to play as.
4: Janus - My wonderful brother decided on night to drop us into an assault game against co-op opponents. I was bewildered by the fact it chooses your god for you, and it landed on Janus in his Bass Drop skin for me. Since the culture shift away from my Medusa, it's been absolutely satisfying to get a multikill with 'Through Space and Time' in either joust or siege.
3: Amaterasu - A newer god, yes, but I've found she fits my play style as far as warriors go. Testing items for proper builds, trial and error (mostly a ton of error) made playing Amaterasu an absolute delight. Took me a while to get the proper synergy down with the mirror and her ult, but it payed off.
2: Serqet - Who doesn't enjoy themselves a little Serqet now and then? Ask that to the many she had poisoned in her lore, and you'll have your answer. She was my introduction into the assassin class, on how my play style could shift away from being high-sustain warrior or Guardian, or glass cannon mages/hunters, and enjoy stealing victory from out of the grasp of the gods I kill. Serqet will always be a favourite, with how quick and nimble she is, how quickly I can 'peace out' from any nastiness, but she's just not number one.
1: Arachne - I, along with (probably) many, felt the tugging of the web in a certain direction after a new, alluring redesign of a particular spider. The redesign fits her lore better, as it shows she was once human, not an overly monsterous spider. I fell in love with the god as I started play. Familiar with assassins, thanks to the likes of Serqet and Thor, I knew mostly what to expect as far as what to do with the character, the ins and outs of an assassin. What I did NOT expect, was how well Arachne fit my play style. I am still kicking myself to this day, wondering where I went wrong, wondering how I never once considered Arachne to be one of my best gods. And this is coming from a borderline arachnophobe! It might be a result of the redesign...something about it makes her seem more inviting, as opposed to horribly abrasive. Hmm...

I like playing Aphrodite the most because she works very well with people who know how to use her. If I get to play with someone who knows how I'm going to play and knows how to work well with my skills, it's really fun! I love that she can play supportive while also being a good bruiser. Her stun is fun. I like to play super aggressively and Aphrodite helps me be aggressive and safe.

I feel like most of my gods are mobile and can support their team in several ways, and aren't necessarily strict "damage" or "support" gods (except Sylvanus, but who doesn't love an old coot in a tree?)
1. Thanatos. A silence. Massive health based damage that's hard to hit, making it all the more satisfying when you learn how to hit it. An ult that can either deal with a pesky, escaping target, completely turn a teamfight, or 100-0 someone if used properly. (Diamond)
2. Ao Kuang. Some of the highest burst damage in the game, with an insanely high skill cap and an ult that can take you from being in the middle of a lost fight to taking out their highest priority target and escaping to safety in 1 second. Ult also a great way to get multi kills. (Level 9)
3. Janus. Crazy burst damage. Major setup cc. Good kiting. HUGE skill cap. Ult can be used for across the map snipes, full team rotations, backdoors, or even objective steals or team evacuations. (Diamond)
4. Xbalanque. Poison dart into 3 combo does more damage than anyone expects. Can box with the best of them. Insane when fed, cc immunity in his kit (I used to let Chronos through in 1v1's simply because I can flip into his stun.) and an ult that can save allies, confirm kills, take towers out of tower range or finish escaping targets.(Diamond)
5. Cupid. Good sustain or team support. Massive cc between his heart bombs and his ult. Good boxing potential with heart bombs, you can easily turn a losing boxing match with a fully charged heart bomb. Safe as well with his dash which is also a buff, and can be used to chase down kills if necessary. No one expects this little baby to roll up, take half their health in autos, and then drop a heart bomb and walk away only to die moments later. He is sooooo bm. (Level 6)
Dude I think you do great work. It might be obvious but Wukong is my number 1. High sustain (tough to kill), nice poke and range on his number 1. Fast and can dodge pretty well. CC negating special, and his animal transformations is on of my most favorite and versatile things in the game. I can choose a knock up to give my team a second to breath or a tiger that can stun and allow for devastation. For those super sticky situations the bird is amazing. Not disagreeing with your top five but like you said just something about certain characters that fit you.

it took me FOREVA to choose between au kuang and thana.. personally i think they are both very similar in that they do extremely high amount of damage very fast and are capable of 1 or 2 shotting most gods when built up properly.. but i settled with thana because i started smite off with him and because of that hes irreplaceable.. btw your awesome.. i love your vids keep up the fantastic work bro..
whenever I played ratatoskr I'd always build sapphire acorn, I was just a good way to ensure kills or ward off enemy players at times, cause I could easily combo his one and two

Fenrir is so squishy and his main form of damage is that 3 which leaves him very vulnerable. I like him too but I think there are much better assasins.
I go for a penetration build no crit you go all penetration for five items and your last can be any of your choice man I went through several builds with fenrir and he's not the best with crit but he excels in penetrating because denier is a beast

About why Aphro is my no. 1: It got to do with something about having an important role in a team. For some reason I always liked in role game (specially during my time playing D&D) to be the one in charge of the well being of my party or team. When I started playing I notice how her kit was about healing AND damaging and after so much practice and determination (it was my first time playing and not exactly the best god for a noob) I became good with her (or at least I like to think I did). And now with over 3000 worshipers and over 1000 kills she became my favorite for life.

My top 5 favorite gods in Smite (I play as a lot of different gods because I believe the best player isn't the one who always picks the same gods in the same roles and get a good peformance but the one who can play as a wide variety of gods and roles and can do it well, that's why my maestry level is 50, so I picked one god from each class for the top 5 and most of my gods are guardians because I love to tank the life out of my opponents and help my team to get the victory):
5- a draw between Ullr, Izanami, Medusa and Chiron.
Usually I suck with hunters and almost never play as them so I can't pick a favorite from these 4. I like how challenging it is to play as Ullr, how Izanami's basic attacks can slowly dish out the opponent and with the right build and when he notice me, he is already dying and I love how Medusa's skills can burst an enemy god. Recently, thanks to you, Raynday, I started to pratice with Chiron and you made me see how I can't screw up with him and that's what makes him come to my top 5;
4- Fenrir/Susano/Bastet
I love them both for the same reason, the early - mid game potential, their skill damage and how I can balance between defensive and offensive items with them without losing their damage. They're the kind of gods I call bruisers;
3- Zhong Kui.
Zhong Kui is another god I can balance between defensive and offensive, his sustain and wave clear are great due to his 1 - 2 combo, plus he can do tower dives with almost no problem at all with his ultimate, his stun are insane and his passive are extremely helpful when taking down objectives;
2- Sun Wukong
Warriors are my second favorite class, they're very well balanced, they're helpful and can turn the tide of a battle when used properly and Sun Wukong are a great example of that. Even being so underestimated, Sun Wukong has a great potential in the whole game, his skills are very versatile, especially his number 3 ability and, on the other hand, he has a good damage in basic attacks to back him up when he doesn't have his skills to defend himself or attack. I love other warriors too like Amaterasu, Osiris, Erlang Shen and Guan Yu (the first god I've picked in Smite) but Sun Wukong is my favorite of them all;
1- Ares/Kumbhakarna/Ymir
My favorite god results in a draw between these 3 guardians, as I said before, tanking is my speciality so that's kinda expected. Ares is my main god in Smite, his passive is a excellent asset to the team, he has a high damage, an even higher defensive and his ultimate can decide the match when used correctly (not just blinking to the middle of the opponents and activating it). Kumbhakarna has the highest CC in the game, needless to say he is a blessing from the heavens in the hands of a skilled player. Ymir is one interesting guardian, he is a good tank but his damage output is high as hell and he can almost instakill an enemy god without the risk of losing his characteristic of guardian with the right build. In season 4 it's kinda hard to do it but you still can.

Went 15-2 with my first game of Anhur, on joust. That pillar, Impale combo is godly, might just be my new favorite god, he's so reliable, and great at countering.
For me over the years ( holy shit I have been playing this game for years time flies huh ) it has been hard to pin down top 5 not because my number 1 pick has changed much but because of these I guess trends I have where I switch my core group of gods and goddesses I play. but enough banter here is my list!
#5 Anubis
- I don't know why but there is just this feeling when you turn and burn someone when you were on the defence and survive with like 4 hp that is just invigorating
#4 Hercules
- inversely I love having long and tenuous boxing matches where your position is key. Also knowing when just your push or pull is enough using them to juke and dodge while you are basically being fully healed from mitigate wounds is always fun.
#3 Anhur
- For similar reasons +Raynday Gaming likes him the feeling of being able to do things on your own and carry yourself to victory is a great feeling
#2 Poseidon
He was the first god I got to ten and while overall he has a very simplistic kit it is fun to find new and interesting ways to use it. Like knocking up someone with the 1 before they can aegis you 3 + ult combo very tricky but very satisfying
# 1 Vulcan
I have always been a sucker for deployables but more then that the finiky use of all the abilities is something I really enjoy and keeps me interested in the character your whole game plan can change depending on how you set up his inferno cannon. This at least to me creates interesting playstyles which can determine your effectiveness long before the battles start.
#0 Guardian vulcan
when he was a guardian all the reasons I stated above were compounded tenfold 2 of your abilities being deployables meant positioning them and yourself was key if you turrets weren't in place in the right positions your ult was not as potent your backfire could only get you so far and the lack of range meant if you did not have them in those turrets you had limited kill potential.
When I really thought about it it started to make sense why I like these gods so much. I wanted to make a stamp on the world I was involved in. The zoning and map interactions really make me feel like I am doing something of impact. This carries over into real life when I make something wether it be a drawing or a story I want it to feel like I have an impact on something.

I've recently picked up this game and just wanna say your videos have been very helpful xD
1. Serqet - Always really satisfying getting kills with her. Her Gank potential is so clean imo. She can get in do a shit ton of Damage and get out before the other team can rotate in time. Also her voice is amazing.
2. Khepri - The Ol Hug Bug is, imo, the definition of a Guardian. He's great at Peeling for your team, Zoning, Chasing, and his ult is so useful for any team.
3. Athena - Same with Khepri, Great Peel, amazing set up potential for you team with her taunt, Global Ult. Doesn't matter where she is on the map as long as her ult is up she always has a presence in every lane.
4. Chang'e - So much fun to play. I love all her effects from her abilities, to her sounds, everything is just perfect. Short CD, She can heal, she can damage, and her Moonlight Waltz is so fun to bait out enemy abilities with. Her Ult is great for disengaging or even initiating and can often decide the flow of a Team fight.
5. Awilix - So much fun to play especially if your team has a lot of Knock up abilities. her 3-4 combo is so satisfying to hit and it's always super fun being able Plus she's so Happy!
Raynday I have an idea. I know you're currently doing God guides and helping us learn gods and their abilities as well as the items you would purchase for them. But, I usually find myself running the same setup instead of adjusting to the situation. Would you be able to make a video where you teach us how to counter build and your thought process on buying items and how you learned to make your own builds so we can come up with our own op builds and become better and learn situational awareness. thank you!

Mark Hanafin i usually stun then use the 3 for burn then back away, plus i think her ult is a good lifesaver for negative crowd control

1. Ymir (First and only Diamond, and I love building him damage; over a thousand kills)
2. Chronos (everything you said in the video)
3. Sun Wukong (almost never dies, which is one of the best and most fun parts of playing him)
4. Tyr (just like Wukong, but better; I feel like I truly am in control of the game)
5. Bacchus (same as Ymir, though harder to manage, outputs incredible amounts of damage)
1.Tied between Ullr and Aphrodite(Picked up ullr as my first god and loved him, Aphro is just bae with her sustain and she can actually dish out massive amounts of damage if you build her right)
2.Erlang Shen (I just have the most success as a jungler with erlang)
3.Guan Yu (Great sustain and one of the best supports imo)
4.Nox ( i like blowing ppl up lol)
5.Izanami (becuase her kit is just so fun to use when you finally get the hang of it)
I am fairly new to smite, but I do have a top 5 gods in Smite.
5. Cupid, The god of Love
I played him when he was free to play and I do like his kit and how quick he is in getting out of situations. His ult is really crippling and his passive synergies with his skills perfectly. Though, personally, he is a hunter which is one of the two roles I suck at, so it's hard for me to utilize him fully.
4. Bakasura, The Great Devourer
God, I want to be good with this God. He looks, sounds, and plays so viciously badass. The only reason he's number 4 is because he is the only champ in the game so far that, even though I suck at him, I still felt like I accomplished something with him.
3. Baron Samedi, God of Life and Death
This is the most unique and fun perspective of the Grim Reaper I have ever seen! He feels and plays like the party never stops and he hits like a party cannon. Though, I don't like losing as him due to feeling like I turned him into the party pooper and, well, his skills are a bit tricky to land sometimes to me. Still, I'm having a blast with, as, or against him, and, if it makes him happy, then when is the next party?
2. Amaterasu, The Shining Light
*sigh* Choosing a favorite Goddess was tough. They have such good kits most of the time. As much as I love Bellona, Amaterasu just felt right for me to pick. The way she fights elegant, straight-forward, and supportive. For a warrior, she feels more of a support, and I didn't mind it at all. With that being said, her damage feels a little too under powered for me to be my favorite in the game.
1. Cerberus, Warden of the Underworld
This is the very first champ I purchased because I love this dog. Once I played, I knew that I was playing a good video game and that my heart belonged to him. His kit is powerful, great CC and teamfighting capabilities, good shield for allied gods, and pretty much the best man's best friend. Whenever I pick him, there is one thing I must do to be my personal favorite god in the game. That is be the best guard dog for my team.

1. Hel. For sure, ability to heal your team up and deal a decent amount of damage is so strong if utilised correctly.
2. Isis. She has everything in her kit a God needs and if played correctly can turn around ANY teamfight, healing up her alies for a decent 600 health while damaging enemies. Literally game changing.
3. Skadi. Such a fun god with a ton of tool in her kit to demolish anyone even though has hard times if ganked.
4. Athena. Oh I love myself some good Athena from time to time, it's so satifying to set up a taunt for a massive ultimate or taunt enemies of allies and appear on the map anytime anywhere, whereever you're needed. Super fun.
5. Nox. That one-shot potential is satisfying and it's super fun to watch someone get COMPLETELY deleted when you pull off your combo as well as sniping people with ult. Ugh, so good.
My favorites would probably be
1. Bellona, she can do everything, her kit strikes a note into me every time.
2. Khumbakarna, rushing it and sleeping every one to set up a gank or saving the whole team or simply dying and coming back is amazing.
3. Neith, she is an amazing goddess, my first ever mastery, she can escape and initiate, her global ultimate is my favorite
4. Athena and on this tier as well, bacchus. These two are amazing, split pushing, saving team mates, protecting those who are worthy of combat(yes, he's my favorite on this tier too, i suppose you can guess who this is).
5. Bastet, Juking monster, can get in and out. The other on this tier is probably serqet and arachne. Taking it for the team and going in to take the pressure of your team even if you know you might die when trying to assassinate someone is a great feeling.
I remember when you had 650 subs, you have grown so much since then and its amazing.

I enjoyed watching your video about your favorite 5 gods. I have to say, my top Five gods are: Awilix, Bellona, Jing Wei, Skadi, and Freya.
1. Ah Puch - his AOE damage is brutal. Put him on instant cast, some magical penetration, know your angles, know his combo and it's a wrap. All about positioning.
2. Chiron - I love his Snipes! His kit is just lovely.
3. Agni - Great mobile Mage. If a enemy with low health thinks he's getting away, dash towards him and lead the target with his ult.
4. Osiris - great all around warrior. Fatallis works great on him with some lifesteal and maybe frost bound hammer.
5. Nox - great burst cc mage. Takes patience and skill to get used to her, but when you get the hang of her it's a great payoff.
5) Ah Muzen Cab - friend dropped 3 Pentas in one game with him. Insanely fast attack speed, paired with stacking items and he's practically unstoppable, only really stopped by guardians.
4) Kumbakarna - My fave guardian, the satisfaction of throwing people in the air and knocking minions back is great.
3) Nemesis - My first unlock, and excellent if you get the first few hits with her passive.
2) Xbalanque - My one and only diamond God. Once you get going, there is no stopping him
1) Apollo - He's sexy. His passive is insane, letting him attack insanely fast. You can build stacking really well with him. He has a reliable getaway with his 3, and is my favorite ADC. Finger guns, bang! bang!

my top 5 favorites are 5- Anhur, pretty much for the same reasons, 4- Amaterasu, I like to help people with my auras and secure kills or stop power plays from my enimes with the silence. 3- Arachne- I feel the same way about her that you feel about Ratatoskr in the fact that most people think she is a poor god but doing well with her is great, my favorite part is securing a kill with my poison. 2- Bakasura, again a god that seems to get a bad rap but my build can shred through tanks and squish alike for setup kills or to 100 to 0 people. 1- Sylvanus, I love my build for Sylvanus the most. but I have found that my favorite Characters in almost anything are the symbiotic fighters. like ferra and torr in mortal kombat X. and I love healing others or helping keeping enimes In a bad spot with my root or pull or ult, but I love to secure kills with my dot from my 2 and ult the most! watching your video made me realize something about my choices in gods. I love to validate people's existences or work! whether it be healing them to keep them in a fight, or securing a kill they almost had and worked hard for. I love making their hopes and aspirations a reality, even if it means that I lower some protections from a god with Ama passive, or speed up an ally to catch them back up, or not die from getting a kill. but the best thing I feel I can do is make sure that their target that they couldn't finish off dies, so that it wasn't for nothing.

#1: Xing Tian: Love his combo along with his passive combined with hp5 boosts and I love throwing people.
#2: Ares: My first diamond loved his kit especially ult which helped a lot in late game with my clans combo with the initiate of my ult.
#3: Ymir: My first god, fun kit, love annoying people with the wall and I love freezing people.
#4: Anhur: My only hunter with a good ass ult.
#5: Ravana: Just getting used to him but I'm loving his style since I'm a big fight fan so it feels good to fist fight people.

Only just recently picked up this guy but I'm really enjoying playing him.

My first god I got fully invested in because she was cheap to buy and very easy to use.

Her silencing move and stun are just amazing and her alt is fun to use.

Second god I actually played in smite and the first I've diamond. I love the challenge of knowing that I won't be able to get away easily so it makes the kills I make more thrilling.

I usually find myself drawn to glass cannons but mainly I love gods that have something interesting about them. Kephri revive is just awesome. Ravana is so much fun. Nox is hard to play and I'm definitely not the best but it is so satisfying when you get her right. Jing Wei I just find her fun and interesting. For Kuku I started to play this game with him and I don't know what it is but whenever I take control I can just do amazing things. In Kuku's case; he's more just fun for me than anything else.
what I love about SMITE is specializing in one thing and having my team res do what I can't do while I do what they can't do.
