For me this makes me imagine a character of mine who's known for being extremely energetic to cover for their past, finally attempting to calm themselves, releasing their emotions softly as the rain pours around them and the sea turns ahead
The very beginning of this song had chills up and down my spine. And I don't know why but I feel like I need to hear this in a movie theatre with all the speakers around me and the volume turned up very loud.

Last night, I had a dream. I dreamt I was on board a submarine, and for some reason the systems failed, and we plummeted to below crush depth. Everything went black, and I woke up to my alarm today. I also woke up to the notification this had been posted.
Suffice it to say, I'm tripping at how much this vibe fits the strangely sombre dream I had. Also, it's just a fantastic song. Keep up the great work.

this song is as if there's a flashback of a dead wife with the husband at a beach for the last time where she says something very meaningful and loving.

The story of a Sailor: The lone Sailor looked out across the waves at the floating remains of the ship he had called home, the ship that had carried him and his seafaring brethren across the seven seas for years. He clutched the bottle of rum he had found tightly as he took a swig, the strong drink doing nothing to dull the sorrow that threatened to drown him from the inside. The moon began to peek through the heavy clouds in the sky revealing even more debris to the sailor… and a few limp bodies that were once the Sailor’s friends. The Sailor couldn’t help but have the memories of what happened flash before his eyes. They were delivering some cotton to London from the New World, but a nasty storm had caught them. All aboard the fine vessel were experienced sailors, most of them having been sailors their entire lives. The captain had turned to his first mate and told him to watch for rouge waves, but the first mate was drunk, and had doomed the ship without knowing it. As the captain continued to shout orders, a rouge wave hit the ship from the Star board side, flipping the ship and drowning most of the crew. The Sailor had managed to grab a piece of debris and had let the waves carry him to the island he found himself on now. The Sailor dropped the bottle of rum and put his head in his hands, and he began to sob. As he sobbed it began to lightly rain on the island… as if the world began to cry alongside the Sailor.
