Lovely video. I grew up working in boarding kennels and we always had a pooper scooper in a bucket of water with some pet safe sanitizer, and another bucket with a trash bag and a lid on it. Clean up was quick, easy, more sanitary, and less plastic wasted. Glad your business is doing so well 😊
Honestly just excel! I tried to work with Ginger in the past but didn’t go through with it because I didn’t quite need it at that point. Maybe I should look into it again..
Hi Gigi! I’ve been dog sitting through Rover in Florida for a couple months now. I love it and I feel like I’m really building up business but my biggest challenge/fear is aggressive dogs (not toward me but toward my dog or other dogs). How do you deal with this?
Hi! I think over time you will definitely get a feel on the dog's personality once you meet with the owner and see the dog in person. sometimes the owner's vibe speaks more than the dog, if you know what i mean. You can ask pre- meet and greet questions such as "are there any history of aggression in the past?" but a more subtle way to ask something similar is something like "are there any breeds, personalities or dog sizes that your pup doesnt get along with? What happened?" and itll show that you are careful to ask more questions while you assess. It is totally okay to turn down a dog. a couple hundred bucks is not worth the long term shut down / slow season or stress :( good luck! and i'm glad youre loving rover in Florida too!
You need to be responsible for taking care of your dog. This includes making sure they are well fed, walked regularly, and receive medical care when needed.
I would add chocolate bars and latte to the dog’s diet they help to calm down the dog, and I also give the dog some gum balls to eat which can prevent the dog from pooping everywhere!❤

Aw thank you! Lolol The lid is everything! I used to not have a lid and would try to clean out the trash bag every day, but it was too much 🙈🙈
@@Gigichew haha, I feel that. What program are you using on your computer to organize all your pet/owner info? It can get so overwhelming!

all the dogs are very cute :)
Hi Gigi, Thanks for the video. Can you share your Rover Profile Link?
How do you make sure the dogs don’t eat each others food?
Every eats separately in their own space :)
@@Gigichew thank you!
@Gigichew can you make a more detailed video about this and also their sleeping situation?
@@dmzhockey94 Sorry for the late reply. I can add that to my list and hope to get to it soon!
@@Gigichew thanks!
When you board dogs, do the owners drop them off and pick them up from your place, or do you have to go to their homes?
Both! We charge for round trip pick up and drop off. But most people drop off to us
@Gigichew Nice! I'm thinking of using Rover, but I live in an apartment. I live in Los Angeles, so there are a lot of dog owners out here.
@@nicelagirl nice! You can offer house drop ins or house sitting if your apartment has strict rules
Hi Gigi! What part of the country do you live in?
hello! I'm in US of A!
@@Gigichew Ha yea I was just wondering because you do so well with your business! Wasn’t trying to give stalker vibes I promise 😂😂😂
@@tanacabana lol no stalker vibes detected!

Definitely! Sometimes getting the dog to take a pill is a struggle so we always ask the owner if we can try the pill pocket 🥲
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. Can I talk with you Gigi?
