Adding a reverse loop and switches

In this video i show how i made a reverse loop and added a crossover switch using ross switches. This will allow me to do unlimited change of directions on my layout without having to stop the train, and put it in reverse through a switch, to change directions.

Nice update! It makes it more exciting if you can turn the train around. I added a figure 8 to my post for layout so that I could turn the trains around. I’m still not at the process of where I can run the trains through it but it’s a work in progress with all of the switches. Take care, Frank😊

Super. I have two wyes with all of the leads eventually reconnecting to the main, as well as a turntable, so I can easily reverse a train or a single locomotive. It's so much better than reaching in with the 0-5-0 switcher, picking it up, and putting it back on the track facing the other direction. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
