I saw him live before movement came out and it was literally life altering when he performed it. No one knew the song at the time so the crowd was dead quiet and just experiencing it in the moment. God I'll never get over it I almost cried when the backup singers started harmonizing halfway thru. Goosebumps is swear

They're all totally different styles, genres are so vastly separate. We don't have to put one artist down to lift another up. I’m 100% positive that hozier could care less about the fame, he’s so passionate about his music and you can hear it through his voice and in any of his songs. Every track he has created is a masterpiece.

To me, the song embodies what making love is all about. It’s the the letting go, the slowness and sensuality of movement, the melting into one...it’s an entirely different animal than having sex where it’s about ego. I wish I could word it more poetically, but this is my interpretation of this brilliant song in a nutshell.

You are quickly becoming my favourite artist. I admire how much thought you put into every minute detail of each song. I think what intruiged me most at first was the reference to "The second coming" in NFWMB because I love literature and especially that poem. And the fact that you share so much of the process behind the music is something I am so grateful for. You make your art an interactive, deep experience that we lack so much in this world of superficial pop.

Also nice to know that during the euro song festival of 1994 when they had there count moment, you could here and see the choir ANUNA followed by Riverdance, Michael Flatley and Jean Butler.
I was far more enthusiastic while ironing ( late in the evening ;-) ) over there performance than any other participant of this euro-contest!
However, I think you understand from where Hozier has some of his "roots"!
