I'm a Londoner, QPR in fact, but I like Birmingham City, there a real club, real supporters. I remember being in New Street Train station back in January 1983, Rangers had played at the Hawthornes in the cup. I was on my way back to London when over 400 Zulus came through the train station it was impressive. Some were white, some black, they were all colours . I've never forgotten that
The most multi cultural and diverse firm in England that's the Zulus. They have got 70 year old black lads and 14 year old rent boys and even got a few lesbians in the zulu firm
We are tolerant as Londoners. We have accepted diversity in our City but we have to draw the line somewhere. Legislation needs to be drafted to stop this. Letting people from Birmingham into our City is political correctness gone mad!!!!
Yes both areas have been sold down the river by our government and local councils. Sometimes I think as football fans we are the only people left taking any pride in them.
Thats because London is the financial centre of Europe, if not the World, i reckon bigger and better than Wall St, New York, evryone having aspirations of working in money and finance wants to go to London. People talk shit there are nice areas in both cities, but of course 'the smoke' is bigger. Thatfootball chant is just that, it's chanted at whatever town/cityyour team plays in, mainly to wind the locals up.
Only 2 teams ever came to The OLD DEN in numbers ( WHU/Spurs) and Birmingham never showed there. The atmosphere THEN was 10 times more fervent and passionate and all approaches to the old ground were perilous to say the least....
Forgetting 1992 are you? We were reminiscing with a couple of your old heads at the FLA march about it so don't bother denying it. Of course West Ham and Spurs took more consistent numbers to the Old Den, they're your local rivals. Villa and Wolves have always brought bigger numbers to St Andrews than you lot. Doesn't make them better firms. Millwall will always have my respect. Always game for it and always there with England.
Chelsea had a big turnout at the old ground in 89/90. I think I'm right in saying that only two mobs have ever had a pop at the CBL end back then. West ham for Harry Cripps testimonial and Chelsea early in the 76/77 season. They got annihilated as they never had anything like the numbers to stay put. Sometimes reputations are made or enhanced with madcap suicide missions. 8-)
Chelsea were always game for it up and down the country in the heyday. Not heard as much from them of late but a few came to have a pop at our lads on Saturday.
Remember St.Andrews 1971/72 in the Spring when Blues got promoted on the very last night in front of 33,000 at Orient. 20,000+ Blues, 10.000 Wall and 3,000 Orient !
i'm a qpr fan west london all my life i love your videos davo always a good laugh proper football man i love your england videos aswell godbless and i wish you all the best in life
17:12 A German policeman or -woman would never apologize, at least not to football fans. That's why I like British people, they are by far more polite to strangers, even the 'authorities'. Best regards and good luck to BCFC. Brum definitely deserves a premiership club, and Villa's a lousy club.
Lots of prats in the comment section who started watching football in 2010 by the looks of it. Good old fashioned football day out where both sets of fans played their part. Spoke to some of Millwall's old heads at the FLA march and again caught up with one on Saturday who had nothing but good things to say about us. If you weren't at London Bridge on the day don't comment. Healthy respect between the two for times gone by and for the fact that we both take game mobs everywhere we go. Yes we got undone big time at London Bridge in 1990 but any firm out there claiming never to have got undone in the heyday has lost the plot. Wall since then has always been and always will be the first fixture I look for when we're in the same league. You can say Villa this and Villa that but the next time they properly show at St Andrews will be the first.
Handsworth Rob Do you remember me pulling up in the red car that day and telling you to come down the tunnel as we was down there ? And you're right everyone has had to have it on their toes at some stage and that mob we had that come storming through the tunnel screamin war war war would have run anyone that day, And you made a valiant attempt to hold the stairs going up into the station until the gas got let off, Fair play to the Zulu's
I went to millwall in 1975 as an 18 year old who thought he could handle a row. Fuck me i never been so scared they were grown men who were hard as fuck . I kept my gob shut watched the game and after the match got out of there as quickly as possible their proper mentalists
up the fucking blues a great day out as always. and as for you chelsea who tried it on by london bridge, jog on. millwall are the only firm left in london
phil james Fair dos pal, I'm only going on what I heard. Different stories float about on things like this. I'd heard from the Wall lads I know that they were out for you at Broadwater Farm. I'd never slag your lot as a firm either way, always brought a game mob to St Andrews back in the 80s and in the early Premier League years. The opposite of Arsenal. Makes me wonder how you two are even from the same city.
As a Millwall fan who first went in 1962 I have to say and West Ham and Spurs. I fear major trouble at Wembley tonight as you just can not police vast areas of the journey and outside the stadium.I fear the worst.....
Millwall were only allowed 3,000 and they were Season Ticket Holders . I went to Spurs after a capacity of 41,000 turned up at The Old Den in Jan '67 in the 3ed Round FA Cup ( I could not get in ) . It finished 0/0 then went to WHL and 73,000 turned up for the replay and 15,000 locked out. All of SE London seemed to be there and there was NO segregation. One of the bst atmospheres ever with Spurs winning that replay 1/0 with a late goal.
Millwall, Spurs and Birmingham have always turned up at ours (Cardiff). Birmingham brought one of the biggest firms of lads I've ever seen. Nothing happened that day but the amount of lads was up there with the biggest I've seen. Turned us over in Canton a few years ago too and there's not many who can say that. Millwall never had massive numbers, but the respect between our 2 firms goes without saying. Awesome on their day. As for Spurs, had a few good cup meetings off the pitch both home and away. All in all, all 3 are a match for anyone on their day. Think Millwall edge it though...
So hilarious all fans away at Millwall drink at London Bridge thinking they are hard (including my lot) but never drink around the ground or be seen b4 the old bill shepherd you in & out. Its a great day out.
Funny that a few of us met up Birmingham lot before yr game at borough market 1 pubs there we had an early kick off, u guys r class ppl & Millwall did FCK all I was wearing my Chelsea jacket in pub with Birmingham haha FCK Millwall
That's because Leeds and millwall have such a fierce rivalry and trouble is guarenteed without proper policing of that fixture the police spend 50grand plus just on leeds millwall
get a grip your just a load of wannabe trouble makers when u have won as much as the villa then start bragging🤣 lets hope you're playing Walsall next season ps give me a text after the game shame gabby ain't playing 3-1 to the villa
It makes me laugh these days, thinking about the old days of cold blow lane were fairly intimidating, now the new den and St. Andrews are the same as going to craven cottage, it’s just fuck all
Haha seem's I've made another dodgy appearance in this! Decent day out spoiled a bit by the blues yet again, what can I say! Decent video mate, looks like I missed the best bit and got to the train a bit too early! Looked class all the blues fans behind the line of police. Poor policing again though, not sure why those horses needed to be brought through a crowd of fans... Put them there before the fans are out and that's fine but nah! I felt a bit like the bloke in the last clip on the train by the end of the day... KRO Davo
I'm a Londoner, QPR in fact, but I like Birmingham City, there a real club, real supporters. QPR lol 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I never forgot nearly getting bashed by a few Leeds fans when i worked in London. Animals.
I am halfway through. I am a Millwall fan. This is awesome mate! I like the way you show both sets of fans' banter.
Cheers mate. No point in doing it if you don't show both sides of it in my opinion. Always a great atmosphere down at the Den.
The most multi cultural and diverse firm in England that's the Zulus. They have got 70 year old black lads and 14 year old rent boys and even got a few lesbians in the zulu firm
Mike Hunt 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 hahahah
Diversity is a weakness
And a lot of people with learning difficulties, who work at Jaguar Landrover during the week
I am a member of the only Zionist free political party in the UK ie the National Front! £11 is such a small price to make a difference.
We are tolerant as Londoners. We have accepted diversity in our City but we have to draw the line somewhere. Legislation needs to be drafted to stop this. Letting people from Birmingham into our City is political correctness gone mad!!!!
😆
Pleasure meeting you davo good luck for the season
You too mate. KRO NOLU. 👊
Love that comment at the end. We were shit but we are used to that all about the day out! Top man
Miss away days like mad. Also davo needs to bring the vlogs back ASAP!
We're in deep South London, what London Bridge? Not even near Millwall. Say that when you're down the Old Kent Road or The Blue.
Ironic that Birmingham fans call London a shithole 😂😂
Yes both areas have been sold down the river by our government and local councils. Sometimes I think as football fans we are the only people left taking any pride in them.
Sone " shithole"....AVERAGE price of a Home throughout London's 33 Boroughs is now OVER 600,000 K.......!!!!!
Both places are full of undesirables.

Chelsea 76/77 did, indeed, come unstuck..lol

Been waiting for this Davo - proper football game. KRO.
The fans deserve better and i only hope the players turn up on Sunday because they owe the supporters

Nice to see a decent post , looks like a very good day out , fair dos
Wall Yoof That's exactly what I'm talking about. Clubs like ours are few and far between. See you at the next FLA march.
Handsworth Rob
