Dude, I am legally blind and have been running +18's and a few19's in my first season ever, I have had issues that originate in name plates, THANK YOU! Incredible work, appreciated. Morgraine - Tarren Mill
I'm old school so I'm using built in raid-style party frames with mouseover macros to heal. You can setup raid-style party frames under ESC -> Interface -> Raid Profiles. From there you can check the box to use Raid-Style Party Frames and adjust the height and width at the bottom until it looks good. :)
Glad you like it! Sadly I don't have a guide, will have to add it to the list. In the meantime, I can give you a quick rundown. I actually don't use many addons. What you see in the video includes: - Actionbars & bag icons: Dominos - CD times on actionbar: OmniCC - Meters: Details - Mouse cursor: WeakAuras - Party frames: Blizzard default with raid profile settings.
Great question, I didn't test specifically for this since I was healing, but from what I saw it looked like the profiles kept the normal tank color behavior of Plater. This makes bars green when you have agro, grey/blue when the other tank has agro, yellow when you have agro but it is low, red if no agro, and orange when pulling from another tank. Hope that helps.
It isn't an addon actually! If you press ESC -> Interface -> Raid Profiles it takes you to options for your party frames. From there you can check the box to use Raid-Style Party Frames and adjust the height and width at the bottom until it looks good. :)
Awesome video man! Quick question though, would these all work when it comes to raiding as well? Probably a dumb question, but curious as an avid raider
Not a dumb question! These profiles will work for raiding as well. I know that several of them have scripts/mods and colors set up for raiding already. Can't remember off the top of my head which ones though... may have to test them in raids in a future video :)
Yes, that is a normal part of the settings for the profile. If you don't like it, you can adjust it by going to the "Enemy Npc" tab in Plater's settings. From there, move the sliders under "Health Bar Size out of Combat" (second column) to the same values as the combat settings.
