Yamaha R3 lapping Laguna Seca: consistent

Took my Yamaha R3 to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, riding in the A group on a PTT track day event. Had some fun chasing the big bikes around. Even got to do a few "Rossi tribute" at the Cork Screw. Can't complain!
I was doing 1:47 laps consistently, felt good. Ignore the line choice and speeds at turn 5 all the way to turn 6, due to the sound check --- it was a 92dB day and I kept blowing the sound limit.

Awesome pace! I was out there too, in B group. I've done a 1:49 on my RC390, but consistent 1:47s is mind blowing! It looks like you're just earlier and harder on the throttle than I am, but otherwise our mid-corner speeds are comparable. Would love to ride with you sometime, I think I could learn a lot from you!

@@leitian7328 You're also later on the brakes than I am, and I thought I was braking late :p. What tires do you have on your bike? Any upgrades?

@@geckods_riding :P I was using Pirelli Superiors SC3. Not as sticky as SC1/2, but better life. My bike has suspension upgrades; otherwise, front brake has stainless line and Vesrah pads.
