Why is everyone downplaying pain .the destructive power of pain is more than rest of all akatsuki put together and he can revive himself unlimited times as long as he has reviver path and even if all paths are destroyed nagato can replace all paths with new corpse

And Asura path seems to be strong, but In real combat it's pretty much feetless.
Because we've only seen him getting distroyed (by Naruto, Kakashi) and while animal Path has great feats against jiraiya.
Still I would say If it wasn't for Cerberus Asura Path would stand a chance but with it Animal Path wins it.
