Miracle Baby after Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy

My daughter and her first year photo recap. (May 2018 she turn one year) Rightfully so I was and still am obsessed about her. Our birth story was pretty traumatic for us both-but we made through it. Giving God all the glory He is only deserving of. It is only the beginning, He continues to show that He is real and ever so present everyday. Just believe in Him. It’s not easy. @@asifahassan7730 she has hemi pelagic cerebral palsy. She is 4 and cant walk without her walker and is non verbal. She tries to do both and has made lots of progress. She is also primarily tube fed.

did she also suffered from seizures for her first week after birth? my baby has stage 2 brain hypoxia resulted to HIE, and were worried about his future, hope you could share, details of her progress, from day 1 till she reached 1 yr...

MS. ISUN / ai' saun / VELOZ Thankfully it was our daughter first day of life having seizures. Her diagnosis is labeled as “Unspecified” HIE, no grading. Her first year like with many parents in this journey is “wait and see”. Some days were good days of progress and some days not so good with progress. With early interventions it made a great deal of improvement over her months. And music therapy is an option as well. Please consult with your child’s doctor for all types of therapy that can be a benefit to your baby. Take care and you are strong enough for you and your baby.
