Wow. Thanks for existing and being, Christy. It's soothing, happifying, reassuring to know there's people like you - like us (book, cafe and nature lovers). I'll watch this aesthetically shot and edited video many times. When I'm in a bookshop/cage/garden, to feel connected - and when I'm not in one, to enjoy vicariously.
I love the (rare!) pleasure of buying a book and reading it straight away, especially in a cafe 💛 The food / cafe / bookshop content were so great as always. Also loved the gardens. Your videos are never boring, I love watching them every Sunday, absolute faves 😊
I love to see your interaction with the old couple. Seeing you having a nice peaceful walk makes me thinking to spend my upcoming days off with something like this, to take off my minds from my stressful life that full with nonstop works. Can't wait for your next video!
this was a lovely video!! I love bookish, coffeeish, out and aboutish (sorry, too much ish hahaha) vlogs. So nice to have a pretty area like that one so near to go and relax (in spite of menacing birds). Lots of love from another springtime across the ocean! xx
I so badly always wanted to go to Australia because of my favorite bands. Now I want to go so I can meet you and hang out/book shop/walk/talk about life! This vlog is so cozy.
I don’t find the home vlogs boring at all 😊 think everyone needs a change of scenery though so things don’t feel stale. Hopefully you can travel again soon!
I love the Matilda bookshop and the Stirling area, especially in winter. It's my dose of 'green and cold'. Another nice walk is the Story Book Trail at Carrick Hill. That's not far from the CBD and is so cute.
hahahaaaaa sometimes I wonder if I'm cursed to be in awkward situations lol. I was just trying to be nice and offer to take a picture! how did we end up here?? hahahah
Ah, you finally picked up How Do You Live? I thought that was a pleasant and uplifting read, and when you went to that bookshop earlier in a previous video, I saw it displayed and I was like, 'Christy, pick that up, you'll like it.' 😄 Also, your bookshop, bakery and nature visit makes me feel happy seeing what's in several time zones away from me. 😌 Thank you.
You are just the sweetest human being ever. Thank you so much for making these wonderful and lovely videos brimming with comfort and inspiration and motivation, they make me warm and happy and fill my dull little life with so many spring colors and fall magic. Thank you, so much love to you!
I'd love to see travel vlogs from different places in Australia and New Zealand, (if that's possible and interesting to you). I'm from Brazil and would LOVE to visit these countries. Also I love your vlog style and the way you highlight these comfy and cozy spots ☺ Really appreciate your videos🙏
I loved seeing the gardens, it was really pretty. I probably won't be able to every visit Austrailia, so it's really interesting to see where you live and see the seasons in the southern Hemisphere. 😊
Love this kind of video, Christy! 💛 My little sister pursuing her studies in Australia. Watching your videos makes me miss her so much. 🥲 Hello from Malaysia, by the way. :)
I think its fully ok to lament the things we lost (and still don't have back) in the last few years, even if people had it worse its still hard. I love your content for the mix you have- reading stuff and home stuff...also for anyone not from where you are it still feels 'travel-vlog' like just to see a city I don't know at all, so don't worry about that being boring!
This is such a lovely vlog, watching you explore was so comforting since I haven't done that in a while. I've been meaning to read that book too, so it's nice to know you're enjoying it💛💛💛
How you feel about Adelaide is how I feel about my home town. I love it here, but it is boring to me 😂 but others who visit tend to think it's a great place. And it really is a great place, it's just that we who live here get used to what it is and it becomes too familiar that it's hard for us to really keep the novelty that people who aren't from there find in it.
I'd also like to add that I've recently found your videos and I've loved hearing you talk about books and seeing where you go in Australia. I'm from the states, Virginia is my home state, and I always love seeing other countries. Especially through the eyes of those that live there. Also that crow at the garden was so adorable. He was such a dark pitch black that was absolutely beautiful.
I actually do look forward to all your videos every Sunday evenings (that's the timing for me:P) They are super calming and I find seeing Adelaide through your eyes super interesting :)
Australia is one of my favorite places but I haven't been to Adelaide. I hope I'll have a chance to visit the city & check Matilda once the situation allows😊. Thanks Christy, it's soothing to watch your videos and I always looking forward to your books recommendation as well 💕.
I think everyone probably thinks their hometown is boring. I feel that way about where I live even though there are things to do here. It’s not as pretty as Adelaide 😍
Totally understandable missing travel during the last few years! My husband and i usually take a road trip each year around Aus & have missed the Adelaide Hills, so lovely to see it again in your vids though :) Wonder if you'd take a trip to the Monarto Safari Park, so we can see that too?? :)
In this vlog I think it might be this one? www.bourjois.com/au/product/lips/rouge-velvet-lipstick-15-peach-tatin Otherwise there's another bourjois one I use in a red-orange colour, but it looks like they've discontinued that shade :(

They were absolute sweethearts. I loved them. I'm so happy you liked the video 💛
Another beautiful vlog! The fact that the old man took a video instead of a picture is just so 👌.
You inspired me to write😊and now l write short stories and looking forward to make a blog!

Awwh I hope you get to come here one day, Miranda 💛

The music you picked during your hike was really good--felt very cinematic.
I literally could watch you read the dictionary. I love everything you post.

Great video Christy!! 💚💚 It’s so cool to see how alive the Southern Hemisphere is with spring while the Hemisphere I live in is going dormant!

I also love birds but I do hear that Australian birds can be on the aggressive side, especially the jays lol. Anyway, beautiful video, as always.

I've put How Do You Live on my TBR :-)

@@christy-anne-jones it's so hard to find a red lipstick when you're a redhead/strawberry blonde! You've hit the nail on the head with that colour
@@zoe4706 I find that if I go for the warm toned ones, it helps! So anything with an orangey base 😊
