It's a hard reality that the EU , an umbrella organisation emerged with 27-member countries to protect their respective " national interests " and therefore, introduced " Euro- Dollar" to make it easy to promote " common exchange currency" . In fact, to remain out of the dominance of US Dollars, business relationships, so also unilateral dominance of US in geopolitics. But, the Russian occupation of parts of Ukraine not only created " apprehensions" among the EU but strengthened NATO members. It becomes a " blessing in disguise" both for the Western and European Countries. During the course of the Russo- Ukranian armed conflict, stopping of oil supply by Russia virtually in protest against the so-called " sanctions imposed against Russia" , both Western and European union countries faced acute shortage of oil and gas to meet their " energy security" leading to a definite setback in their respective economic systems . Here , India played a crucial role in balancing between Western & EU over the issues of " energy security" by bringing crude oil from Russia, processing it in India and supplying those to the Western and EU. In the process, some countries noticed that the sanction against Russia became ineffective and tried to bring India under pressure. But when the question of meeting their " energy security" arises , they are fixed finding no other way. On the other hand, India maintained its " neutrality" and adhered to maintaining decades old bilateral cooperation with Russia. In the process, India played a crucial role in geopolitics and a hope to have an acceptable solution to the persisting Ukraine -Russia armed conflict ( now turned to " total war" ) . Jai Bharat.

We have to always Remember that There are no Real Friends, there are only Opportunist our Neighbours are the best examples. How they took advantage of us in times of difficulty and then Kicked us out when it suited them. Bangladesh is the latest example, their public don't even honour the fact that, it was thanks to the Indian Armed Forces that they were separated from Pasistan.
We the people of India, our administrative staff, our press, our Educationalists, our Judiciary, our Politicians, our Armed Forces and our Government HAVE TO BECOME ONE SOON so as to be able to Think, Plan, Act Decisively etc on issues that involve our Nation as a whole, quick and positively to survive in this world.

Importing crude oil from Russia at a cheap discounted price ,then refining and exporting again to European markets with a rise of 253788%( not typo) in exports since 2018....It is win win situation from both Import and Export sides . But had they decreased their prices in domestic retail market ??? In 2018, we were getting Petrol for Rs 70-75 per Litre, but today , unfortunately instead of decrease we are witnessing price rises as we are getting it @Rs 100-105 per litre.......So, being a common citizen of India , humko kuch nahi mila bhai...Ulta chuna laga rahe hai.....Why are you rejoicing ? Petrol is cheaper even in a country like pakistan ,( compare USD prices of Today) .

During the prevailing current global geo political and economic scenario, it would not be prudent to trust and depend upon any one or group of countries for our exports and economic well being. When you are dependent and involved, invested heavily on any one or group of countries, you become too vulnerable and lose your leverage. The country/ group of countries in European Union could collectively form a cartel and force India to do business on unfavourable terms which in turn could adversely impact our exports and economy. Unless India has any product, cost, quality and logistical advantages over its near competitors, it cannot maintain and hold its edge and position over its exports. It is also a fact that once the ongoing war Between the Russia and the Ukraine comes to an end, EU countries could resume their imports of petroleum and petroleum products from Russia. In such a scenario, India should find ways and means to market its refined petroleum products prudently.
