tbh, daichi being underrated irks me. he's one of the main reason why karasuno reach the peak / why they got successful. some people overlooked the fact that daichi is the one who suggested kageyama and hinata to become partners and he's the first one to believe that they would be a powerful duo. he's indeed a respectable and amazing captain.
he's literally not underrated if they dedicated an entire episode showing how important he is by how affected the team was when he got knocked out. 🙄🙄🙄
He's also an underrated defender. He's a pretty good defender when noya's not on the court. Also, his ability to pull his team is extremely underrated. This can be shown in the warmups vs inarizaki, when to opponents crowd are loud, he's the one to encourage his team to be heard. This boosts their morale as a team. Daichi is a reliable and a good captain.
