why are they covering BP songs? Is this a competition for BP best cover?

I'm pretty sure this is old and they're just reuploading the videos (idk why) because I remember watching this one a few years ago.. I think it's an annual(?) kpop dance cover festival. I think first you compete in the festival in your own country and then the winners from each country travel to S.Korea and appear and compete in this show. Unfortunately I can't remember more details and I'm not even sure if this is indeed this festival or if I'm confusing the two events 😅
And to answer your question, I remember they cover more artists as well. Just this episode was about BP and other episodes are about other artists or smth like this.
