Never pulled a trigger on this one, but I also made my own research and people say the EcoFlow told them there's no fix for this and the whole unit had to be replaced. What baffled me the most is that EcoFlow seems to replacing these with a used even though working unit and not with a new one as they should. Definitely not going to buy this now, which is a shame because it seems like a very neat device if working properly. Thank you for your honest video despite affiliation with EcoFlow. Almost no one talks about this issue.

I just got the same problem. They want me to send it back first prior to sending me a new one. I have the wheel and lever accessory attached. Yo take off the lever it would make it so that the next install it might not have the sticky panels that covers the screws. When I had an issue with Anker power station they sent me a whole brand new unit first so that I could use the box to send the old one. Now that is costumer service.
Spent $235 on a generic Chinese 27 litre fridge 2 years ago - no Bluetooth App here. I figured it was worth experimenting as it was so cheap. Made a 50mm insulated box for it to sit in (with ventilation holes). That was 2 years ago and the little beast is still going. 100 Ah LiPO4 battery ran it for over a week recently (Vic High Country in Autumn, mind you). Total summated run time is over 38 weeks.
I could not take that chance on my remote travel with a failing fridge. My Bushman has been running 24/7 for 13 years. I recently needed to replace the on/off switch. With spare parts easily available, it was a 20-minute job, and it's as good as new again.

my Bushman after 13 years of 24/7 use had a faulty switch, $100 for a new panel and it took 3 days and took me 20 mins to replace. That’s what I want to see in a product.
I have not had problems with mine and it is about 18 months old. I recently decided to switch overland fridges to a drawer style for more convienence. I only used the ice making feature once and found it took up too much room for what it provided.
that's good to know maybe they had a bad batch, but I have heard of a few people with the same issue now, and yes I also would have preferred more fridge space instead of an ice maker, which is more like a novelty
I bought one in July 2023 and about 6 months later it started to freeze everything. I got it replaced under warranty and the second one lasted about the same time and is now freezing everything again. Unfortunately my warranty has run out and I'm stuck with a freezer. I have other Echflow products and they are all doing well. The Glacier is definitely a dud and I'm so upset with Echoflow.
I have a similar issue with a different brand dual zone fridge. However, it bounces around in the back of my truck and takes some extreme temperatures. Maybe they all use parts from the same manufacturer.
Hey Stefan, l’ve had the exact same issue happen twice on my Dometic CFX95W. Once for each compartment. It was a faulty thermistor, both times. This is a replaceable item on the Dometic fridge/freezers. It’s going to be the same issue on yours. Not sure how to replace it on the Ecoflow.
I just turned my fridge on from it being off for about 5 months My thermostat is stuck on 99° F But there’s ice on the walls on the inside 🤔💁♂️ How do I fix that? Sounds like a thermal couple issue

I’ve been finding that EcoFlow products are garbage. My Wave 2 died after 2 months and my Glacier was DOA. Such a pain in the ass to have to ship those bastards back.
I did use it for over 6 months, mate. I usually test for a year, + but the update cycles of this electronic gear, unfortunately, are way too short to wait for a year. The units are usually already superseded after a year
Ecoflow is a big scam company! They should be a Class action lawsuit. I have a delta pro and wave 2. I have had 3 waves in a month. They keep sending me units that does not work! I have. My delta pro went into not charging. It is a nightmare dealing with the not so much customer service.

yea would not swap mate I don’t think the Ecoflow is as sturdy or reliable as an Engle
I had the same problem too. They sent me a new fridge too. 2nd fridge seem to be going good

yes I assumed same but despite two requests it does not seem to be replaceable which is a big waste replacing the whole fridge for it.

mine gets error 1004 off balance all the time even on the roads when just lane changing
oh interesting I never tested it extensively in the car with all the electronics I doubt it could survive a lot of condensation

I would not generalise the Ecoflow Power Banks are the best I have tested, but I agree with Wave 2 and Glacier they should stick to battery banks

Interesting while I had not much luck with Ecoflow Wave and the Glacier, the power stations have worked flawless for me so far

I've only ever had Waeco/Dometic fridges for over 20 years. Never had a problem and wouldn't buy any other brand.
