- Let's take a look at the tech specs of the Nomadic Research Raid Pack HD 2.0, as well as my opinion of the bag after an initial test period. Over built, rugged, and very well featured, but is it overpriced? That may be up to you decide based on your personal position.
I have this bag and use it every day. I agree that it is a super solid bag; you can feel the quality as soon as you get your hands on it. I have Goruck GR 1 and a couple of Eberstocks, but this is my go-to bag. It looks more like an Osprey than a tactical bag, even if it's a tactical bag. The only downer for me is that it does not have waterproof zippers. It should be standard on the HD when they have a waterproof liner. You forgot to mention the waist belt btw.
Couldn't agree more about the zippers. And thank you for the reminder about the belt! Completely overlooked that for the overview, I'll be sure to mention it in a long term review. Thanks!
Hi! How is the harness system/suspension?? I am not finding much on that! And their website doesn't really address it.
if had to do over is pack better than vertx bags?
@@stevencraig9090I don’t have any Vertx bags. But I know Vertx is a solid brand.
These guys still in business? There are like 3 reviews
Am I under thinking it or would it make sense to buy the non- HD version and just pack some sort of bag poncho to save some $? Especially since the zippers aren't waterproof on the HD
That’d be a great idea! Especially is you could get one that’s fit for a similarly sized bag. Thanks for the thought!
Nice pack but a little expensive. Have you or can you do a review on mystery ranch rip ruck 24?

@@SJA-Reviews thanks, I found it.
I've got the Raid 2.0 regular backpack... it is the best bag out there in my humble opinion. Yeah, it's expensive but what is reliable gear that your life may depend on worth to you?
@@merrette Hey. i asked another commenter about the harness/suspension system. Is it comfortable? Does it carry well?
*promo sm* 😜
