i ran into a similar deck on the ladder about a week and a half ago. it had some different cards, including breeches as one that i remember off the top of my head. the deck crushed me. double etali triggers tends to end a game on the spot. this version is a bit different, but also quite spicy. i still think breeches fits great in this list as a good defender early against aggressive strategies and value machine if left unchecked. edit: wow, i just looked it up, because i remembered the guy's name on the arena ladder. traceon. it is the same name as the one in the tournament. apparently i played against him on the ladder in his testing phase? that's really cool!
I took a similar deck to Mythic with Raccoons and Hugs and Annie Flash and Goldvein Hydra. Remember to play Beza before you play your land, there were a couple places you could have gotten a treasure token, and Roxanne sacs treasure tokens for extra mana
Really fun, but also kinda feast or famine deck... How does everyone feel about a few Parting Gust, Guardian of Ghirapur or Salvation swan in this deck ? Thank you Ash for showing the deck and the always great content :)
First off, you're an awesome content creator. Second, when you first cast your Elk, you could've pinged yourself with the pain land to 19, netting you 3 life...just sayin'. Peace
It's one of the best cards in the game and it's in almost every black deck because you can cripple an opponent into not being able to play anything the following turn as well as getting to see their hand and what you're up against. Plus they have to waste mana to get that card back from you. It's all about tempo.
