Hi. Enjoy the vids. I always say with older games if they don't have manual I d rather not buy so it saves both me and the assistant time at the till. I ve noticed that expensive games in cex are put out in plain cases and I think it's a security thing. Manuals can be rare and key to value so maybe that store keeps them behind till with game. Norwich as I'm sure you know always have them in cabinet. Keep entertaining!

I'm always tempted to pick up old demo discs. The problem is there really is no resale value on them and they take up the exact amount of space as a game would lol. They're an interesting part of gaming history thiugh and I respect the nerd with the shelf space who collects them. I did manage to pick up Minecraft story mode complete edition on 360 for 2 quid a couple of days back. That retails for 15 in cex. I also grabbed an "untested" Sony discman for 3 quid and git that home to find out its fully working. My best buy this week wasn't even nerd tech. I paid a whopping 7.49 for a kilner jam pan that can hold 10 litres. A quick bit of research did inform me that they can rrp for anything between 50-80 quid depending on where you buy them. I would have taken the risk on guitar hero for the wii as I picked up a game for 50p (greatest hits I believe) that sells for a surprisingly high price.

In my local Cex half the stuff is behind glass screens! Since they probably don't trust people - you can't even go and inspect the PS1 games like you did in this video. Also annoying because they have the PS1 games arranged in such way that you can't see the prices.

Nice game hunt Dan. Once I visited a CeX to check out a copy of Evil Dead for the PS1 and there was no sign of the game. I enquired and sure enough it was tucked away out of sight behind the desk. I thought this was a one off at the time, but clearly not. It seems a bit of a strange practice though, but you're right, it's something to be mindful of.
The instruction manual policy seems to be a bit all over the place as well. Even for cheap games, sometimes they're left in the case, other times behind the counter with the game. If it's a game I'm interested in and there is no manual in the case I tend to ask anyway.
Nice Snes pick ups, two awesome titles right there and they both look in great condition as well. There is also a version of Donkey Kong Country which came with a music CD, but they slapped a huge circular sticker on the front. I actually prefer the version you got with the awesome box art displayed in all its pre-rendered glory.
Cannon Fodder is awesome as well, although I think I've only played the Amga 500 version back in the day.

I dread to think how many games I’ve missed as I didn’t know they where probably hiding just mere meters away behind the counter so I’m happy to spread awareness with this video!
I think a lot of CEX stores differ and I wonder if this is because some are corporate stores and some are franchise stores.
For me I think I’d prefer this version as I would love to own the city but for retro games for me it’s all about the artwork and I agree this one looks much cleaner without the huge CD sticker, I think they also did the same for killer instinct.
