1-2 star players hone chahiye ? any one of these players, if available for selection, can be selected for any international cricket team.
when India sent the 3 extra players so that team can have more options for bowling or batting (left hand, right hand etc) also when these play in foreign country, they get exposure to the new pitches, new grounds, new environment. Thus they build up their experience. One can play international players in IPL but that way the team can only play strong on Indian pitches. when they go to other countries & play that is where they learn more, also they make friends with opposing players, share their experience, views on cricket, thus improving themselves & the opponents.
Each team is a potential winner, the only difference being the experience and how they perform on the given day. Of course Indian team would like to dominate & win against teams, but at the same time, we hope that the opponents also improve as that way the players in both teams will learn new skills & improve. The players who played the T20I will be given rest, the team going to Zimbabwe is not B team by any means, most of them have played international matches, but not have got enough chances due to the top players. Now due to the world cup, there is now a chance to let the young players play together as a team , as a unit.
