  • my daughters have inherited my need for speed! So what does every good dad who loves building and breaking cars do?! Upgrades their Power Wheels! So we have a 12v Jeep Wrangler and at first I just did a 20v 9AH Dewalt Battery swap/upgrade. Within two weeks my daughter snapped off a gear arm and broke a tooth off of the final drive gear. I hear this is a constant issue. So I went to MLToys.com and found they sell upgraded gear boxes ranging from stage 1 to stage 5. Well of course, you only live once... so I choose to Stage V upgrade. While at it, I also opted for the optional Heatsinks and the Brake Reduction Module. The Brake module in my opinion is a serious MUST HAVE even for a stock Power Wheel! That hard stop is so brutal and this really helped out a lot.
Any questions just let me know! All comments welcomed!
I'll do another video in the future to let you all know how it is holding up to the beating!

I have definitely talked about doing this! But the girls love the burn outs so I'll probably wait till these plastics wheels are complete garbage then when I get a new set do the rubber upgrade!

@@ZackZweifel thanks! Is the Jeep still holding up ok? Did a 20v lithium in my daughters and as expected, smoked the gearboxes in short time. I like the idea of the metal gears and beefier motors on the kit you installed

@K Bail so far so good still. But I only allow her to drive it on the roads now.. I've heard people say the yards are super hard on the gears. Sounds crazy but I only allow them to drive in slow gear in the yard and they can rip it down the road in fast all day long.
