So for a fitness guy who dont have lots of money to spend ,band 6 would be perfect right??
I have to admit I like the thinner form factor of the band 6, even though the watch fit is the better product.
Me too, I have very skinny wrists. But I want the features on the watch fit.
I wouldn't say it's a better product. It's a different target customer, and very different products and mainly prices. It's like comparing a slim laptop to a gaming PC, different objectives but both do what they're intended to

I've had my band 6 over a year now. Maybe closer to 2... I love it.
And I'm a giant also. I came online today to see if there was anything new. It just seems so great that I dunno if I should upgrade.
I have the Watch Fit and i got to say it packs a huge punch and does more than what people think it does. Sleep tracking for me has been very precise as has Heart Rate, Steps etc, it has a ton of watch faces that keep coming in every day and its just the right size and battery lasts a very long time. Its a good light all round fitness watch/band. I also alternate my Watch Fit with my Huawei GT2 which takes bluetooth calls. Love them both ;-)
It has the stress and oxigen monitor like band 6?
I agree. I found out earlier today it has the 50% alert/notification for timed workouts, which Is a feature I really wanted. This feature is not documented in the manual.
Which would you recommend, gt2 or watch fit... I so confused... I really dont do excercise
@@leonievieira6986 the GT2 is similar in design to the Galaxy Watch, if your after that look, the Watch Fit is more a fitness band. GT2 you can receive Bluetooth calls and make them, watch fit you can't, so if that is a feature that would benefit you then go the GT2. You can receive messages on both but can't reply back. The GT2 is more your classic looking watch, personally I favour the GT2 as it's more functional for my needs allowing me to take calls while on my walk and I feel safer that I can make calls while out walking 😊
Band 6 or watch fit? Which one you recommend?
Almost great. Disappointed you didn't show the details of the tracking in the app. I really want to see how the data is displayed in the app. I use fitness bands to make sure I don't go overstep or my HR goes to high.
Decent both but nothing special. I have the the watch fit. I do not recommend it. Misleading adds all over, they say 10 to 14 days battery lasting.. You get barely 3, 4 days in full usage.. Heheeeeeeeee.. Who buy a smart band to use in standby.. Ridiculous. Good luck.

I just want to comment on the thing you said about the message reading.
I own a Huawei watch fit and because I've tested it for a while now, I can surely say that every message can be readed entirely, with the exception of smilies, in that case you get just a notification without content, but you can see who send it!

@@michaelcastriciones5750 Hi, no, you can only control music played by your phone. You can think the watch as a controller for music. But I think watch fit is a good choice with a competitive price.

hi Steven, great video. The watch fit is saying overheating and turned off when the weather is hot! any fix or technical infos about that. thnx a lot in advance.
It has also happened to me with my Watch Fit, however it was when I was driving and the sun was shining on my wrist permanently, so it does make sense that it rather protects the device by shutting it down.
The watch doesn't like direct strong warm sunlight for too long. Same with my Galaxy Watch and Watch 3.
@@danielcillie1856 mannn! I was interested in that watch until o read your comment. Most of my time i am on my bike for 4 hrs or running for 1 hr or the beach most of the day. A d i live in Thailand, so very hot and humid. Now i dont know which watch to get. 😭 Thx to let is know though.

How many of those courses are on the watch fit and are they also available inside the Huawei Health App as well. Do the courses show you benchmark scores for heart rate zones?
Everything except the animated workouts are avaliable on health. You can keep track of the animated workouts also on your phone but you can't do them from that only.
Yes. It does show all the different "zones" of workout based on your heart rate such as aerobic, anaerobic ect

Good review. I must say training status and training load isn't available on Huawei Band 6 or on the phone app. Not sure if you have training load on Huawei Watch Fit, but having training status on Huawei Watch Fit is really good at motivating you. Huawei does some nice stuff and having 24/7 spo2 and heart rate, stress tracking is really good for the price and the heart monitor is one of the most accurate.
I had the same problem. Update it . It is in the settings . Leads you to an apk site. Download it. Gives the option to integrate the download. Do it. It works. Hope this helps :)

does it monitor sleep breating oxygen saturation? for those with Sleep Apnea. Does it vibrate if you have low oxygen while sleeping to nudge you to change position?
They don't vibrate if you have low oxygen while sleeping. You only get a % score in the app after you wake up and tells you if your breathing quality was ok.

About Huawei watch fit:
To be accurate even for recreational running, you have to update it for a few hours within the start of the run, which is not such a problem.
The main problem with this device is the inaccuracy near the trees, it is simply unusable there.
It doesn't even have to be a forest path, it can also be a road through the forest. He just gets lost.

Using it with iPhone is the music controls. Supported? And what about other features as well what is supported and what is not?
I am using the Watch Fit with my Samsung galaxy A30s, it does have music controls like to skip forwards and backwards, pause and play, and volume. However you cant like access the playlist on your phone. I cant imagine that it would be different on the iPhone.

Syncing my sleep data every morning by the app is really slow on my Honor band 5. I have written many emails to Huawei support to have an explanation for this behavior because it takes minutes, but they never told me why. I have also a Mi band 5 and syncing data takes a few seconds. It's the no. 1 reason for me not to buy any Huawei/honor fitnes band again.

I chanced from a smartwatch after smartwatc for a versus versace watch, love the watchface 😉 and that I don't have to charge and no stupid watchfaces. But I always lived the gear fit, and my gear s also but it was a lot oh my goodness and terrible charger Bammm...so I chanced it to Asus zenwatch and the a mk acces...then back to a versus in gold, with black strap...I wouldn't mind black inthink, I don't know...its just cool to be able to read youre hardrste and control youre music.But design wise these both look very nice, but if I would chose in a free ....world without nobody I would think go for the black one. 🤔Still indont know if I'm allergic for the lock...I always need silver, stainless or gold.maybe I need to let it be with my versus...

Nope. They have different latching system so they're not interchangeable. Btw you can actually use a standard 20 mm strap on the Watch Fit if you buy an adapter/converter for it. I bought one and it costs about $2.5.

Hi, nice review. Question is watch fit 2 can I upload music mp3 ? I'm looking for a watch with gps and can listen music during my run or cycling without my phone.
I don't want a watch like Samsung or apple or what ever who needs to be charge at the end of the day or 2. I don't really care about 100's of app. Like on my phone except Spotify.
If the answer to my question is no, which watch do you recommend for my needs ?
Watching for sport as every i want but need what I've mentioned above. Don't like that the bracket doesn't lay down but what ever. Hope we can change the bracelet for stainless for dress up or different type of rubber because those are way to big for me.

Can someone explain to me what is the using of gps on smartwatch? Does i need a watch with gps if I'm only exercising on my trampoline only? I rarely go out from my house land.
If you lose the watch or get robbed you're able to locate it with the gps feature.
For people wo run or walk, they don't need to take a phone with them. Helpful while trekking as well. No use for indoor activities

Yes. It works with my watchfit. You should turn your music on first and it should automatically show up on the "music" screen while using earbuds at the same time.

I have the band 6 and there is no such feature, the music widget is there so that you dont take out your phone out all the time, you can increase/decrease and play pause skip song through the band, which is to be honest what i wanted initially !
