It just occurred to me that, at the time I watched this episode, I would have understood absolutely nothing in that sentence. 😎
Buffy moved from the WB network to UPN for seasons 6 and 7. So crossovers are rare from here on.
The best part of this episode is when Cordy realizes it isn’t really Angel because he was caught with a brunette instead of a blonde
In retrospect -- and because another reactor got up to that part -- Lilah being into the idea of being with Angel is in line with her character, or perhaps with how her character develops over the season.
The reason Lilah cooperated in hooking up with Angel was because she wanted him to experience that moment of perfect happiness so he can become Wolfram and Hart's greatest ally. Plus, she'd get a major promotion, thus winning her competition with Gavin!

One thing we can be sure of in the the 'Buffyverse' is these shows loves Body Swaps/Personality swaps etc. Here of course we see Angel getting a dose of it, with the old man taking over his body. Funny scene with Angel whilst possessed thinking Wesley was gay, and his interactions with Gunn too. We get worried for Fred though, as his intentions are clear towards her. The old man 'gets some' of course with Lilah, and Fred walking in on them is cringing to watch. The old man of course possesses all Angel's powers in his body and is having a great fun time. Fred of course still has a massive crush on Angel at the end, but of course he drops her immediately when Cordelia tells him Buffy is alive. I think it was a reasonable episode, but in fairness very average.
The old man is played by Ron Howard's father, who Ron Howard looks more like than he did when this episode aired. Really dates the show (and a great director), unfortunately.
I'm a little surprised the other son, Clint, never popped up in the Buffyverse. He made it into so many Star Trek episodes.
And Ron's mom was in an episode of Buffy, Teacher's Pet.

BTW I hate that this happened. I don't think Angel should fall in love with another human girl...it was already complicated enough with Buffy and it could never last unless he becomes mortal at one point or _she_ manages to become immortal,but if I _had_ to take another vampire x human ship for him I was more than fine for it to be with Winny. @@Nicamon I understand, I just mean that when roles are being cast in Hollywood, pretty people tend to be cast as leads, not as "the funny one".
@@maidden Yeah,I know,I just took the chance to brag about a great(and gorgeous)Italian comedian(who is _also_ a great dramatic actress...she's great at pretty much every thing she does)..I know that _usually_ the funny characters are not the pretty ones.(And I say usually because,even just remaining in the Buffyverse..just look at Willow&Xander..they're both good looking _and_ hilarious.Cordelia is super-attractive and can _also_ be very funny. Same for Glory. Several characters in"Buffy"are _both_ good-looking and funny.)
Nah, he was made for the romantic comedies.
