Really enjoyed your craftsmanship! I'm a plumber on cape cod and have always appreciated the skill in a metal roof.

Riley, great job on the floating shelves! Your craftsmanship is top notch. Got a great timesaver for your floating shelves. Instead of packing tape and glue, use Lamello Tenso. Its super quick, easy and a huge timesaver! Hafele offers all the Lamello products. Reach out to me for a demo.

I have fastened all kinds of floating shelves using a dozen different methods and I am glad to have seen another good method.

Amazing workmanship, especially enjoyed the floating shelves that Riley designed, even if it made me feel really dumb. ;)

I worry about getting young people in the trades too. I'm an old carpenter in Maine and there aren't a lot of young people who want to get dirty and work hard which is too bad. I have a friend who does high end custom work. Other than one 24 year old guy, his youngest is 61.

It gets better every week. Tricks of the trades made visible in less than 20 minutes! The close up saw cutting shots of the floating shelves deliver the details.

The roofer saying we need young guys in the trades , we need experienced guys like himself employing these kids ... a kid could learn a lot from him, he comes across real passionate about his job

Your metal guy needs to piss in a cup so his doctor can check his mercury level. That shaking could be nervousness, a medication he is on, or a life of handling the material he loves. 46? Seriously, ask your doc dude.

What blade did Riley use in his table saw to cut the plywood? and what grit sandpaper was used to clean off the glue after it dried? The shelf came out awesome!
