Bro when the song started in the Umbrella Academy and shit started to go down with Five and Lila, I was like "no freaking way... they really be killing it with the music again!" To me, this scene was the "Don't Stop Me Now" from the first season:)

Well the first scene/monologue did that but the soundtrack did that even further. Only one show can have a 58 year old assassin stuck in a 13 year old body with his mannequin lover running from two hit man all while “Don’t stop me now” was playing. And only one show can have two civil rights protesters, one with the ability to manipulate people’s decisions fighting two Swedish assassins who stormed into there house while “Everybody” is playing. I mean lmfao. In my opinion.
Try Brownout when they do their Brown Sabbath tunes. It's Black Sabbath with a massive Latino funk twist and added brass. They are really good and well worth a listen if you like added trombones.
I have no idea what the Umbrella Academy is, but anything that exposes people to great music is good by me. You guys should check out their other stuff. A lot of it has this second-wave ska feel. It's really great. Also, love the Madness reference by the guitar player!

Honey Brew exactly the same with me when Green Day played in Manchester in Feb 2017. Had never heard of them before they stepped onto the stage and as soon as they started playing I fell in love and haven’t stopped listening to them since.
I'm not really into pop music, my favourite bands are NIN and Tool, but I do respect what Billy and her brother have achieved I read that they produced the song in their home, whatever your thoughts are on the song for a 17year old to achieve that is really cool, this cover is a great ska version and nicely crosses the generational divide.
I remember hearing this in UA and being like "wait, is that who I think it is?" like DAMN. This cover really did find its home, totally made that scene iconic for me.

I am picky about music and criticize more often than complement, but this band has everything going for them. Aimee’s voice is absolute fire and the drums and bass are so on top of their shit that it can only come from being twins. The production is textbook perfect on every level. The band has a look and sound that is classic, energetic and addictive. It is music I will spend money to listen to.

I don't think you understand what a trillion is. This song is not _that_ much better. I'm not even sure it _is_ better, just different. I actually prefer the original synth chorus over the trombone version, but the trombone _is_ good too. The only thing I prefer about this version is they left off the stupid ending of the song, which I didn't think was very good on the original.

They fill the sound out well on it's own, the subtly horn section works but it's not vital imo. The melody is so much better in a ska format.
