ICE FISHING DANGER "SNOW COVERED ICE"

I was fortunate enough to not sustain any injuries, or even worse go all the way in the drink during this incident. What had happened was we had some snow then warmer temps melting that snow into slush and then a bit of rain. That rain then changed over to snow blanketing that slushy mess and covering the unhealed holes in the ice. Before this, many folks were out there drilling holes and doing their fishing thing. We had a good base of about 8 inches before the crazy weather and there was still pretty much 8 inches when we arrived. I just wanted to put this vid out to make others aware of this potential leg breaker or even worse.
