The only talent I had when I was a kid was for getting in trouble :)! It is wonderful to see kids with an inborn talent like that, it is like their life has already been chosen for them. Me ... I had to do a lot of picking and choosing and never really felt like I found my calling. But I do believe that work is the answer to almost everything, regardless ... always try to be and do your best!

I've seen many kids interviewing with Steve and they all seem to behave the same to me. Have you seen other interviews? What seems different to you?

You don't know what she was taught. This was an informal, fun interview on a TV show featuring talented kids. I never heard anyone say "yes sir" in any TV talk host interview (much less one featuring talented kids), so why would she do that here? This isn't the military and she's not talking to a king/president. She was very respectful to Steve, and he liked her so much that he invited her to appear on the show twice (as you can see from this video).
