HHP was way more progressive and wholly ahead of its time. India as a society was about to undergo some deep change back then in 1998. The show puts out those matters which were to become a part of aspiring middle class discourse in 20-odd years. And it does so all the while maintaining the desired maturity to deal with teenage subjects, without letting go of the innocence required in portraying the most unadelteredly beautiful phase of our lives, our late teens. I was maybe too young to watch it back then when it was first telecast, I discovered it only in 2016. What I felt for the characters was one purest emotion. Maybe I was experiencing the feelings that were put in hold for quite a time,and were thus unfamiliar to me. I have my deepest admiration for the cast, but Meera I loved the most. God bless all of them and God bless the maker.🙏❤️
I loved Peeya as Kiran the most, very bubbly, Tom boy and very naturally pulled the character, having said this I must say that all actors were amazing, the show had sensitivity, simplicity and connected directly to the heart. Nilanjana, Purab, Rushad, Raghav , etc ....you all are still our tv batchmates , and hugs thanks to the producers, director and entire team for making our teen times wonderful.

I was introduced to this show around 2010, when Disney India started to air it. I could only watch last few episodes. But i loved it. I'm still not familiar with it, someday i'll make time to watch it properly. I was born in 97 otherwise it's definitely what i would have liked watching growing up instead of mind-numbing tv -shows these days which mostly focuses on romance.
Hi I'm a 97 born too! But i first watched hip hip hurray when i was 4 yo (even tho it was just 1 ep. That essel world trip ep) and i dunno how but i still remember every last detail of that show. When i was talking to my sis about 90s show i remembered that ep and i literally typed in the entire plot of that episode to search for this show and ended up binge watching it!

I remember I was in 7th std when I watched this serious and most amazing part of this series was I never felt it was shooted, felt like there is a school college somewhere in real-time stories happening. Now I am qualified working person but I have downloaded all the episodes and now whenever i m low in life I go on watch those episodes and remember my schools and college days .. Nupur Asthana and the HHH gang, how about a new show about a group of friends in their late 30s? How expectations, dreams and relationships change at that age will be interesting to watch. It will really be refreshing to watch a show like that.. not a remake, not exactly a sequel either. But a story of people who are still that young at heart but have to live adult lives. Twenty years and so much change, yet for us 90's kids, life remains stuck back there when things were so so different. I'm sure it's not just me who's feeling this nostalgic right now...I remember how much of an impact Hip Hip Hurray had on our generation...I wish we could have such wonderful shows now, but that seems impossible when you think of it...no one can bring back the beauty of the 90's the way these shows, especially this one can. Nupur Asthana and the HHH gang, how about a new show about a group of friends in their late 30s? How expectations, dreams and relationships change at that age will be interesting to watch. It will really be refreshing to watch a show like that.. not a remake, not exactly a sequel either. But a story of people who are still that young at heart but have to live adult lives. Yes I want you guys to play the roles. I just can't get enough of you guys and HHH ❤

Twenty years and so much change, yet for us 90's kids, life remains stuck back there when things were so so different. I'm sure it's not just me who's feeling this nostalgic right now...I remember how much of an impact Hip Hip Hurray had on our generation...I wish we could have such wonderful shows now, but that seems impossible when you think of it...no one can bring back the beauty of the 90's the way these shows, especially this one can. Thank you for giving us a show that made us relate so much with it, and for giving us these memories for a lifetime!
