After coming back from injury, Taniela Tupou made his Super Rugby debut for the Reds before returning to Brothers for a championship run. Tupou caused havoc vs Uni, taking MOTM in both finals matches as Brothers won the premiership.

this is one of the most annoying type of rugby players cause if you try to tackle his legs, he's gonna bump the fuck out of you, if you try to tackle his upper body he's gonna fend you and if he tackles you you're basically dead. Pure beast!

He moved to Brisbane because his brother was working there. His plan was always to go to Australia, even before Sacred Heart. No anger about it, it seems only people making a fuss about it are kiwis. He's made it professionally and now is an international. I'm sure he's not worried about NZ schools.
