@@ExplorationToGo John Asquagas is the locals favorite casino and restaurants. I’ve never heard of a food poisoning case from there when I lived there. Circus circus and the dumps downtown, different story. That’s another dice game in itself. 😉

The lobby was a bit dim when I went there, which was kind of odd. But I do agree, a little modern touch-up would definitely make this casino resort compete with GSR and others. Thanks for the comment by the way :)
Good question, as I have been filming without hiding my camera. I just stay away from the tables since filming at or around tables are prohibited. Just have to be aware of your surroundings and obey the casinos rules if I do get stopped, and yes, I do get stopped a lot, lol. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it 🙂
Must of missed that part, lol. Looks like a nice place to go to. I'll make sure I cover Anthony's Chophouse when I visit the Nugget again. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Ill be there at the end of May for the Libertarian National Convention, thanks for helping me get a lay of the land.
Nice! Glad you find the video useful. Thanks for the comment and enjoy your upcoming stay there at the Nugget! 🙂
Johns oyster bar has THE BEST pan roasts on the planet. Endless French bread served with.
@@FanceeName good to know and thanks for the tip. Will definitely go try Johns Oyster Bar when we get back to Reno later this year. 🙂

Don’t fool yourself it’s a dump!
Awesome, worked here like close to 30 years ago, great memories, thanks.
You're very welcome. Thanks for the comment! 🙂
I remember walking the sky-walk a number of times in 2018, and that same Terminator game was playing the same music. :P
Lol, i remember hearing the arcades too
Thank you for this video! Headed to Sparks in a couple weeks.
Oh cool, you will definitely enjoy it there. Sparks is a nice little town. Thanks for the comment!

My mom and dad used to work there 32 years ago!

Thank you. It’s Huge! Going to be going to a convention, 7/15/24
Nice! Enjoy your time there in Reno and at the Nugget! :)
I used to sing there in the lounge in 88-90
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing and commenting on this video, appreciate it 😀
Walked in looking for a new casino to play at after dumping Grand sierra, walked right out!atlantis is the new spot.😊
Lol, yes, Atlantis is a wonderful casino, resort. I am hoping to go back and cover more of Reno very soon, stay tuned 😀
Seems the nugget was trying to save electricity like being in a cave.Dark and dingy.
@Bill Jones lol, yeah I did notice that. Thought they lost power when I walked in.
May I asked why you dumped GSR? Stayed there and thought it’s pretty good.
I've been to this place for a convention 5 years ago, it's okay, bit a modern touch-up would look nicer.

Are the casinos OK with you filming inside or are you wearing a hidden camera?

@@ExplorationToGo Buy the google glass camera if necessary! It's discreet that way!
@@DianaMartini good suggestion. But I don't think the Google Glass comes in 4k yet. May have to wait until it does come out in 4k and higher. 🙂
Is this casino related to golden nugget in taho
I believe so, but not 100% sure. I know that the Golden Nugget casinos are located in different states.
MayI ask why you dumped GSR. That place is pretty good I thought.
Who dumped GSR? GSR is one of my favorite resorts in Reno! 🙂
You walked through the skywalk and didn't look out the windows?!?
Lol, sorry about that, maybe next time when we go back to Reno / Sparks.
You missed the best part. Anthony's Chophouse.
