      @Area69employee Yeah it’s honestly ridiculous that they aren’t at least allowing him bail. I’ll admit chasing after somebody in a car and letting off shots is very wreckless and I wish he would’ve just used his hands but he had a very clear reason to be dangerous to that single person on this earth. Dude is no danger to anyone else and it’s ridiculous how he’s being held. If it wasn’t for the injuries he’d the Heavyweight GOAT.

      @@isaiah1931 - A lesson learned that you can't take the law into your own hands (though I understand why he did it). The DA here is a criminal tyrant (the entire DAs Office from my personal experience).
      There is minimal crime in Silicon Valley and thus they prosecute everyone, including unjustly/ unwarranted prosecutions, the goal being to force everyone into a plea agreement regardless.
      They don't impartially investigate cases (both sides), and they prosecute innocent people (myself among many others) based on the Felony Perjury of Police Officers.
      Where there's minimal crime (for an area this large), they have to justify their existence and manufacture crime to serve the revenue generation/ career industry that is the Criminal Justice System/ Prison Industrial Complex.

That’s how elite wrestlers with mediocre standup dominate MMA… by effectively mixing up their attack.

      @TheStraightestWhitest ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@ninenine2438 His chin is actually alright. Not great, but perfectly fine. If he had defense like Volkanovski or Petr Yan, his chin would've lasted his entire career with ease. The only times he got put out were by Bisping, a guy who's got a big KO ratio and fractured kickboxing champs' ribs and cheekbones, Romero, a 225lbs roided up monster known for his heavy hands, and Blachowicz, a 215-220lbs monster equally known for his concrete hands.
      And none of them put him away in one hit. He wasn't out after the first left hook from any of them. It took at least one more massive hit to stop the fight.
      So I actually think his chin is fine. It's how he left it up in the air that made it look so devastating. If he so much as tucked it or rolled those shots, he might have been dazed but he'd have survived them.
      Everything he does is good EXCEPT for his fucking head defense. It's such a shame. Even his boxing is good, but he just has one big hole that he seems unable or unwilling to fix.

    I'm upset that these two weren't on top for much longer after this fight. Rockhold got exposed for poor boxing defense and Weidman couldn't handle the next wave of contenders. The division just progressed sort of rapidly past them. I believe Rockhold still has a solid last run in him though if he's made the right adjustments. The guy had all the talent in the world. Weidman should probably call it a career imo, especially if his comeback fight results in another loss. Wish the best for both of them, honestly.

      Weidman had a huge fall after Romero KO - he lost his chin after that and also his confidence (as you should if chin is gone). Luke has always had a sus chin, but I agree, if it’s still somewhat intact after Jan KO then he has potential for MW run.

      It surprised me Rockhold decided to use wrestling (even though ultimately it's the wrestling, due to a mistake on Weidman's part, for that stupid back kick, that allowed Rockhold to take him down, by grabbing hold on to Weidman's back, hurting him badly on the mat via G&P)... rather than kicks. Actually, Weidman surprised me initially, when he started kicking at Rockhold, who really has those powerful, fast body/liver and head kicks, and Rockhold just stood there, absorbing those kicks... Only a handful UFC fighters could deliver those smooth, sweeping, exquisite body kicks: Rockhold, Leon, Giga, Barbosa, Yair...

      @@thegreg9800 he said they seemed in invincible. Not really. Weidman did. He was like 13-0 I believe and 4-0 in title fights and also beat a legends to even get to the first title fight. Rockhold did seem invincible in strike force but in the UFC he had a loss just a few fights before this. He was not invincible. As amazing and talented as he was, he never quite had the run Weidman did. He had no business losing to Bisping. And although Luke was kicking the crap out of Weidman here, had Chris not attempted spinning wheel kick, he wins this fight all day on his way to a decision.
      I was just clarifying that he didn’t have the UFC career that Weidman did. Hope that helps you comprehend.

    What truly made Weidman lose this was he kept doing spinning kicks and Rockhold just wrestled him and got mount multiple times, and that's what led to his loss.

    This performance by Luke was super underrated (I guess not so many people actually watched this fight).
    This performance was flawless, one of the best championship performances in the history.
