Tang Min's performance in Chef Hua is superb. Admire her acting skills. Would like to see her more in historical romantic dramas. Maybe modern comedy romantic version to see how well she can deliver? Tang Min is attractive, adorable, beautiful and sweet. Like this current exciting drama with 2 great compatible characters. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes. Wish Tang Min more opportunities in dramas and movies.

First 5 mins of the drama i laughed. At 18min i actually cried when the daughter sacrifice herself for her mum. I am pretty sure this drama will be great.
I always love drama with general's romance as a theme. And I think I like both ML and FL..But I hope the writer and director put more effort in detail.. for example why the FL and her assistance bother choosing to walk tiringly when the general left them in the forest. It is very clearly visible that the horse and the carriage is still with them ...sigh...

lol yeah the logic is not very tight. regarding the horses, the girls probably didn't know how to ride horses or control the horse carriage, but they should still give a try first.
I mean she was a neglected child treated worse than her sister's servants, I doubt her father hired a teacher to teach her how to rid a horse given how poorly she is treated at her house. Also her assistant probably is thought of even less (I doubt they'll spend time or money teaching an assistant/servant of someone with a lesser rank of a servant of how to rid a horse or navigate a carriage). Unless she is seen riding a horse in later episodes we can assume she doesn't have that skill.
I have never laughed so hard and didn't understand a word, no English subtitles. I still laughed, that girl is a mess. I even understood that her father didn't value her and her as much as his other daughters. But wait until they see the General, good gracious alive, he's handome, lol. Love this so far, hope there are subtitles eventually. Awesome show.

She never grew up spoiled or in luxury. She and her mother were mostly ignored by her father and treated as less than maids by her half-sisters. Her father's wife was the only person who was actually nice to her, and even she wasn't able to help much. No one really valued her until she met her husband and I think she had some underlying trust issues to reckon with when they first met. She was the exact opposite of spoiled and entitled. If she acted out at times, it was because her family has taught her that no one is there for her but herself.

有誰回過頭再重溫？佩服仗義的錦兒為了母親及不抗皇上賜婚，決然代嫁。錦兒半途遇襲，將軍竟然忘記接回，甚至自行到將軍府的門口，沒人應門，是將軍懷疑錦兒是奸細所致。看來第一集雖有些不怎邏輯，或許就是一般戲劇取勝的套路。
我觉得女主属于耐看型，越看越觉得她好看

Pretty sure girls in that era don’t learn but her little assistant should know, cause she is the FL’s maid
