My lolo taught us how to treat strangers visiting our home. He said "welcome strangers visiting our home as a friend that may possibly not able to see again and that maybe is the only chance we got to give them a good remembrance". hence.... the Filipino hospitality.
Mano po when meet an elder, Tito, Tita,Lolo and Lola is one of the greatest traits of Filipinos. It binds the clan or the family with religious meanings and affinity to God. My heart melts when you mentioned that Filipinos family is everything and parents when they will get old are being taken cared by childrens and you too don;t want your parents to be sent to home of the aged and taken cared by other people you really are now immersed and understand our cultures.
It’s amazing to be apart of the culture of Filipinos. I really love the way Filipinos love and are close with their family. It is something I will always remember and respect. Thank you po! ☺️🇵🇭
