Got into UCD and currently availing of their services to help with my mental health. Forgot I was going around looking at LC videos during 5th year, times have passed.
Well done pet💕 I did my LC in 2015 when it was the old system a-fs I too was sooo bad a maths my whole life and got a D3 in ordinary level.. I wanted to do computing which I couldn't because (I can't remember exactly) but I think a C3 was the minimum grade that was accepted for my course. I did one year in a PLC course (which was amazing one of the best years of my life for self growth) and now Im going into my 4th year in a level 8 course for computer science! Life works out in the end. The leaving cert is such a old and unrealistic system and we shouldn't be put down by it. 💕
OHH gurl, congrats, it is a fantastic result and don't worry about showing your results just because your points are not 625, everyone is different and enjoy your achievement😍. And yes I do agree LC has some big flaw! (BTW tell us your secrets for a H1 in eng😂!)

I did my junior cert in June and since the english course has changed, we’re expected to get 15 questions done in 2 hours that was previously 2 papers. When I came out of the exam, i was very upset as I found it hard because I felt like I failed because I usually do well in English. I hope what happened with ur English exam may happen with mine haha
My teacher was talking about that!! Its insane and so unfair.. the timing in exams is just so unfair and they will do anything to make it harder as if it's not hard enough already! But what i would say is always do the homework and try and make time for one extra essay! I did two english essays a week! Expand your vocabulary or if you see nice words or sentences take note of them!! Also know your comparative texts well! Always hand up essays to your teacher and take back all the feedback and apply it to your next one!! Also key skillls is amazing!! Highly recommend! Best of luck!🙌🏻💕💕
I remember watching your other video on the LCD right after I had finished mine and was looking for some reassurance and look at us now! All the kind comments people left for you really helped me too and even though I didn't get my top few choices I really do believe I did well and it won't matter in the long run.

Trust me, all you can do is your best! I'm not the smartest but through work work and dedication I did the best I could have. We all have different potential! Do what you can work hard and that's all that matters! Mind yourself and dont be hard on yourself! You'll do so much better than you think, trust me!

I would say, try it out for a little bit in 5th year, maybe up until Christmas. And just see how you're getting on in everything as a whole, if you find that you're spending too much time on maths just to pass it still and as a result other subjects are being pushed to one side I would see to dropping down to ordinary level, also talk to your teacher and see what he/she thinks and your parents as well! I was or never will be a learning essay type of student! I know it works really well for some people but for me it never did! I tried but I panicked and couldnt remember it all! So I studied a chapter and took notes and tried to do some essays based off that chapter! I woukd learn the information in the essay but not the whole essay if that makes sense? That way if the question is asked in a different way or different elements are added on then you can adapt your knowledge to the question! I studied the a topic, took notes and tried to integrate it into an essay! Also I find watching videos on the topic help a so much! I also studied history every night mainly because I loved it but also because i really needed to! Even just read over notes you took in class just before bed or just before you finish up for the evening!! I hope this helped, and if you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask! I actually have a video on how I studied, and my tips for getting a H1 if you want to watch that! But to put it shortly I basically did as much essays as I possibly could, at one point it was like 2/3 a week, I handed them up to my teacher and i re did them if I didnt do well in them! Keep practicing, look over quotes all the time, dont neglect paper 1 keep practicing that it's so important! Make sure to follow a layout when you are writing an essay for example a point per paragraph and a quote to back it up! You got this 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I got 509 points. I got 3 H2s, 2 H3s and 2 H4s. I got chemistry=H4 I am really happy with this result as I found Chemistry stressful, Maths=H4 I expected to get this or a H3 so I am happy with this grade, Classical studies=H3 really happy with that, Home Economics=H3 I thought I should have gotten higher so I am going to appeal this result, English=H2 I am really surprised with this result as I thought I was going to get a H3 so I am very happy with that, Biology=H2 I expected to get that or a H3 so I am really happy with this grade and History=H2 I am really happy with this result as I wanted a H2 in History all year.
Honestly work hard! I love history and happened to have an amazing teacher! Do The work the night you get it and learn what you're writing as best as you can! Try not to miss school! I missed one history class in total!😂 and if you do miss class just catch up! Ask questions if you don't understand something! Watch TH-cam videos on the topic it helps alot!! Studyclix is amazing also!! History takes alot of learning but is so rewarding! I hope this helped 🙌🏻❤

I got 509 points. I got 3 H2s, 2 H3s and 2 H4s. I got chemistry=H4 I am really happy with this result as I found Chemistry stressful, Maths=H4 I expected to get this or a H3 so I am happy with this grade, Classical studies=H3 really happy with that, Home Economics=H3 I thought I should have gotten higher so I am going to appeal this result, English=H2 I am really surprised with this result as I thought I was going to get a H3 so I am very happy with that, Biology=H2 I expected to get that or a H3 so I am really happy with this grade and History=H2 I am really happy with this result as I wanted a H2 in History all year.

Any tips on getting a H2 in history?
Honestly work hard! I love history and happened to have an amazing teacher! Do The work the night you get it and learn what you're writing as best as you can! Try not to miss school! I missed one history class in total!😂 and if you do miss class just catch up! Ask questions if you don't understand something! Watch TH-cam videos on the topic it helps alot!! Studyclix is amazing also!! History takes alot of learning but is so rewarding! I hope this helped 🙌🏻❤

He did it in a nice way! There was barley any of us in that day as there was a match on! He just wanted to guess what we would get! He is the nicest teacher with a heart of gold so it wasn't meant in a bad way!🙌🏻
