Hi, here’s a random factoid: a rhinoceros’s horn is made of keratin (the stuff that makes up hair and nails). Given that unicorns are not real, we can just go along with the idea that if they were, their horn would also be made up of keratin :) if that helps you feel better Drew

I thought horns were made of the same thing as nails, as well.
They’re made of keratin like hair and nails. Most animals with horns use them to cool their blood- the blood circulates through the horn, away from their body heat and cools off before going back. Now you can really freak out.
