Thanks again to Hobo’s Snakes! This girl is great! Remember guys, I’m a gecko guy getting into snakes. While I’ve done extensive research, I’m not an expert. Any advice or tips would be great from people that’ve actually owned these guys. Not someone who reads care guides lol. No offense Her tank is being upgraded and I can’t wait to show you that too! Also think of some cool names!! Don’t be basic either lol
Thanks for watching!! And other than the fact of them needing a larger enclosure as an adult (which you can save up for over the course of 1-2 years if you buy as a baby), I’d say they are a great option for a lot of people
Yes! Congrats on your beautiful new boa 🙌🏻 Edit: Boas are generally great eaters. I've never had an issue. I have a male hypo het leopard and he's a little squirrelly. lol. She looks like she's got a great temperament. The leopard genetics originated from the Sonoran locality which are smaller boas, if I'm not mistaken. The Boaphile is a GREAT resource to check out on feeding and breeding info. PS, I'm a snake girl with one crested gecko. I like the content that you make, but now that you have a boa, it's even better 🤩
That’s kinda one of the reasons I wanted a boa. Lenny my ball python is so picky. So one day she’ll be able to recycle some of the rats instead of wasting them And cool! I’ll check it out. Thank you very much!
Bautiful snake but heads up: its recommended that a snake enclosure should be as long as the snake is at the bare mininum. With half the lenght of the snake in width and height. Wich means if she will get to 7 feet you need a 7 feet enclosure one day
@@dawnlight7803 This one was just her temporary quarantine tank (which is getting changed). And the 4x2 was just a recommendation. I’m going to have to wait and see how she grows to determine what size tank she’ll need And I have heard that before! Thanks for the info 🙏🏻
