One morning in the 1990s growing up I was sudden picking up FOX4 from Dallas, TX over the air in Rocky Mount, VA. At times there was a very slow pace to very faint static but the signal was strong enough that the picture was color and comparable to the reception of the other nearby stations in Roanoke at the time!
